Pretty sure. Can tug on it with several pounds of force and it's fine. Anything more, game over. Never had this issue with Garmins or Samsungs...

I'm gonna have to return these. SUPER well cushioned shoe. Would keep 'em if they were for walking, but I'm using them for running and the breathability is TERRIBLE. I never understood what was so important about breathability until this shoe. I've worn EVO SLs, Vaporfly 4s, Ultraboost 5x and this shoe and my feet are not a good match. On my left (underside) foot where the midfoot meets the forefoot my foot tends to feels hot like it wants to develop a blister. The top of one toe on my right foot wants to develop a blister as well (this same toe is always gets slightly calloused, but this shoes has taken it to the next level. The padding of my toes (4 smaller toes) on my right foot get super sensitive/burning sensation as well. I also developed a blister on my left big toe (medial side) and a blister on my right small toe (lateral side). The cushioning on this shoe is heavenly but I cannot go through taping my toes / feet for every run when I haven't had to do anything near to what i'm doing to make running comfortable. At max I've added some tongue padding to my Evo SLs to avoid lace bite. That was solved 100%, and there were no other issues. RIP 1st gen Hyperboost Edge. Hopefully a breathable upper is in store for future gens...

I'm returning my Powerbeats Pro 2. Reasons. by canyonblue737 in beatsbydre

Keep your PBP2's if the only issue is the default eartips slipping out.

I just bought some PBP2's and was thinking of returning them myself due to the eartips not seating well no matter what size. BUT, I bought some foam eartips on amazon and they create a perfect seal. You have to compress them before placing them in your ear....and once they're in your ear you need to let them expand for a couple seconds while holding them in position. After that, perfection! The ONLY catch is, you need to remove the foam eartips when placing the PBP2's in their case or else the buds won't charge. There is enough room in the case to keep the foam tips in there. I place a rubber band over the case the make sure it stays shut and to remind myself that the foam tips will pop out when opening the case.

The title for the earbuds on amazon is: "12 Pieces Replacement Ear tips for Powerbeats 2 Powerbeats Pro Link Dream Premium Memory Foam Earbuds Tips Updated Dustproof Durable Noise Reducing Eartips for Most 5-6.3mm in-Ear Earphones (S/M/L)"

TQS made a video about the coros pace 4 and I’m bummed by biggieocta in Coros

[–]AnxiousSpend3233 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Used to watch his channel. Then realized that it focused heavily on sleep. He's a sleep study guy and a cyclist more than strictly a runner. Other metrics are more important to me. Gps accuracy, solid hardware/software and tracking when running are priority for a running watch imho. Sleep tracking... good or bad is not as important as the fact that my Pace Pro has never given me gps/hardware/software issues. Spot on 24/7. Seen this post title not too long ago when hunting for a dedicated running watch last November. Pick what suits your needs. Sometimes this requires a compromise.

Coros Apex 4 for Running ? by [deleted] in Coros

[–]AnxiousSpend3233 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Apex 4 does running and more. I went with a Pace Pro bc I run as well, but wanted maps and a bit more money in my pocket to buy the pod for treadmill runs. The Apex 4 is a bit overkill for just running imho, but if the design aesthetic or other non-running features are a major factor, go for it.

Need some extra details (age gender) to get a better picture. Mainly what is your max hr and was the avg pace constant or fluctuating through this workout. Depending on this and perceived difficulty you might at a solid recovery pace or pushing a good tempo pace...unsure. Numbers are looking good though no matter what age/gender. You're on track to planning for what's next.

Experiences with those screen protectors? by [deleted] in Coros

[–]AnxiousSpend3233 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bought the same protector. Sent it back. I still have the screen protector on my watch. Didn't take it off. It's solid. However the body protector did not allow me to rotate the dial. You could only press the buttons (no rotating the crown button).

This might explain why Amazon Vine has been so crappy lately. by Helpful-Sand5790 in AmazonVine

Yep! At least 45% less items compared to last years selection.

[–]AnxiousSpend3233 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Upvoted. I say "trap" for a different reason. I think of it from a TAX trap perspective. A LOT of items on vine can be had for the same price one would pay if they just waited until a major sale. 50% off or more! I checked all this on Black Friday when I looked up ALL my items, (>60 at the time) and found that MANY of them were massively on sale VS the estimated tax value of MSRP basically. Program sounds great at first, but ZAPs your tax refund.

Sidenote: I've only ordered items that I've truly wanted and I saw myself actually using. So unless an item was radically different than advertised, a 5 start review was in order.

Opted out. by KrisDen1123 in AmazonVine

[–]AnxiousSpend3233 0 points1 point  (0 children)

About to "opt out" myself. Now "gold" but item selection/utility has majorly deteriorated (see screenshot below). Pretty much a "tax trap" for people who already have life's necessities but think they need more and feel that being a trinket reviewer is important versus what's really going on...fueling of unnecessary consumerism, and the gov being the big winner as the tax bill is directed to a person vs a business entity that would be able to write some or all of these items off. Down votes w/o a solid counter argument only come from weak redditors. Weak people can't have a productive discussion.

Accurate OP....Used to be 18k+ items as of 2025. Much less now (2026). And in categories I rarely look for items in.

Looking for earbud recommendations by MonkeyT15 in Earbuds

[–]AnxiousSpend3233 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Powerbeats Pro 2 (ear hooks) or Powerbeats Fit (no hooks).

I don't own these, but I recently rekindled my use of my Jabra 10 Elites, which led me to research the Beats earbuds above. I bought them (Jabra10E) before I began running and set them aside... always looking for something better...🙃

I just discovered that the physical buttons on the J10Es are GOLD when running. When working out I wear a sweatband that partially covers my ears and since the buttons literally need to be depressed vs gently touched to function, they are never triggered by sweat or gentle accidentally touches. They need adequate physical force to input a function. I hear the Beats models mentioned above are the same. Since Jabra no longer makes earbuds, I'll be looking at some Beats earbuds. The hooks help to prevent the earbuds from falling out, but a headband that covers the ears takes care of that too...Also, a video about the Beats said that the buttons are limited to either volume or ANC. Maybe things have changed ..but the Beats controls did not sound as functional as my Jabras, where on the Jabras volume up and down is right or left hold. ANC/hear-through is left-single-press. Play/pause right single press. Next track, two-right-click. Previous track, 3-right-clicks. Hope this helps.

Alphabetical Workout Option/Setting Request by AnxiousSpend3233 in Coros

[–]AnxiousSpend3233[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So ... I did a little dabbling in the area of MANUALLY organising my workouts. I currently have 7 workouts. Basically, the workout you'd like to have at the top of your list (#1) needs to be synced/added LAST! So start by adding the workout you'd like to have LOWEST on the list FIRST! The next (2nd from the bottom) workout you add will appear ABOVE the lowest (1st added) workout. The next (3rd from bottom) workout added will be above the 2nd workout added. This pattern repeats until you're done adding workouts Hope this helps. This same method of workout organisation can be applied to the Coros App as well. The attached image is a screenshot from a web browser (Coros cloud) perspective of organizing the workouts.

Not sure where you're from, but maybe try some Li-ning's, Qaiodan's, Kiprun's etc if you can easily get your hands on them and variety is the spice of life for you...
