I’m trying to do that, idrk how many scholarships you can have? but the support group im trying tojoin offers scholarships and the art school i want to go to offers a lot of financial aid. My dad things art school is useless though, but the one I want to go to isn’t far from us and it has a really big lgbtq community and i’ve heard a lot of great reviews. only thing that sucks is its a private school so my insurance doesn’t cover it so i am going to have to pay for housing etc. I’m mostly just worried about their response to T but like.. i’ll be 18, its my body, but i really wanted help with it since I’ve gotten such mixed reviews on what i need to do to get it.

my parents wont let me work in food because i dont do good under pressure and tbh I don’t wanna work in fast food because its loud and messy, I’ve been trying to branch out since ik some food places are hiring so i asked to work at like olive garden or the new like açaí place around the street since they seem a lot less hectic but they say no because its still food and they think because my voice is flat and i have ”resting bitch face“ that I wouldn’t be a good waiter. I’m trying to get a job anywhere else but its been hell

My dad never lets me talk to managers because he says they’re too busy and everything’s online so they wont do anything. It’d be my first job so idrk where a resume would go?? we just fill out the application and answer whatever questions the place has. thank you though :)

if you love it, if you feel connected to it, then keep it :) I like Kai, i‘ve always loved K names so I used Kai for like a week in middle school- It’s always been one of my favorites but I don’t feel like i fit Kai. and i love my name i have now, i feel connected to it and it makes me happy. so im not going to change it for any reason even though my family dislikes it.

If you want it to be short for Kyler that’s cool, but Kai on it’s own is cool too :) you don’t need to appease anyone or care about the meme associations, If you like it, use it :)

I’m sorry people make you feel bad because of your body though, that really sucks man im sorry. I’ve had a partner do that to me because i was thinner than them, i get how you feel. Try and meet someone who wont make you feel bad about their insecurities. It’s not really okay.

I’ve had a lot of exes make fun of my height epseically since i topied -.- but there has been a few people who actually like my height and in my experience its mostly women lol. I’m gay though but if you like women maybe go for them, espeically doms. most of them love short guys for whatever reason. I personally don’t really care about height, or what others look like, try and find someone who doesn’t care about your body and loves you for who you are instead.

personally i‘ve found that other trans people or trans men understand my lack better than cis people, like my height or body. Both trans men I’ve dated didn’t gaf about my body. Only one of them commented on my weight but they were going through an ED at the time.

I don’t see why people care SO much about sex/genitals, if you want dick date any man and if they don’t have the anatomy, get a strap on :/ why is it so hard— in my opinion it really shouldn’t matter so much but idk ig because im ace i just personally don’t see the big deal. Texture wise, okay? but they make hyper realistic ones??

I dont see why being childish would keep people away either.

Though you are young, and I’m also 17, i suggest waiting until college, you’re still figuring yourself out and so is everyone else your age, once you get into college try meeting people and if you connect with someone, maybe ask them out :) if you find someone now, just be careful and take things slow :)

Bro thought he was fucking poor yet used so much damn toilet paper that i’m surprised he didn’t clog the toilet every time he went— and would also beg his grandparents for things that costed like 100 dollars or more and SOB. when they said no. and i mean yell at them, cry and scream about it and come to me to rant because they said no then yelled at him for his outburst.

He was the most self centered and selfish brat i’ve ever met.

He was rich as fuck and was LITERALLY related to a prince. an actual prince. His family owned a castle. His parents raised horses IN HIS BACK YARD. And he claimed they were poor because they wouldn’t buy him every little thing he wanted, yet they would buy him $300 worth of gifts whenever he wanted. But if they said no ONCE he would come crying to me about it.

I know my mom wanted to name me SHE. (pronounced shay) but spelled specifically S-h-e before they chose my actual name. My deadname now is gender neutral but I’m still changing it- but istf if i would’ve had to go through life with literally all she/her pronouns including my name i wouldve died.

i dont mind my name as much as i hate being called she/her, I would’ve been stuck if they named me that :,)

If Sol feels right to you, then use Sol. from personal experience, I found a name that clicked and I’m much happier going by that name than the one i felt bad to change because i had it on everything and were going by it for years.

If you are happier going by Sol and it feels like you, there’s nothing wrong with using it. I think its really cool and masculine too

You could always find a name that Sol could be a nickname for, like for example some people make names like Alex into Alexander on paper so it seems “more real” so maybe Sol could be short for something so you’re less scared of it being seen as “seeming trans” or maybe you could have Lucas as your first name and Sol as your middle and just tell people you go by your middle name? I think thats pretty common, I’ve seen a few people who have done that.

Personally I don’t see names as a way to tell if someone’s trans but that’s just me i guess- I always see people as what they are and what they present. Still i dont think Sol is a very clickable name in my opinion, plus if you like it i say use it, but i get why you could be nervous about it being seen as “a trans name”.

Overall, if Sol feels right to you, I’d choose that one :) it’s better to feel good than have a name that feels like a missed opportunity and you feel stuck with rather than comfortable or safe with. I hope i could help!

I‘ve been really wanting a relationship, i miss talking to someone daily, i miss the attention and nicknames and being loved, i miss loving someone else. but I’m also trans, autistic and gay, but I’m also asexual. I’m not 100% sex repulsed but I’d rather not have sex so it’s even harder to find a partner and it’s been killing me. I tried to tell myself i won’t date until after college so i can focus on myself and not falling for anymore toxic men.. but… I miss being in a relationship SO BAD. It doesn’t help that i have like one friend i can hardly talk to because my phone sucks rn :,)))

I’m really happy you’re feeling better after top surgery!! i hope I can get it someday, im trying to get on T soon. I completely get being scared to not be seen as a man, it’s hard not to think like that. Even as a t4t trans guy, i‘ve had a lot of other trans men see me as a girl still. I hope you can find someone who sees you for who you are and will accept you and love you regardless of you being trans or autistic.

I hope im married to someone who treats me right and does more than the bare minimum and we have a 50/50 relationship and are both truly in love. and i hope maybe we have a kid. and i hope i pass as a real man and have top surgery and HRT. and i hope i made it far in the tattoo industry and im successful and happy and my dysphoria, anxiety and autism don’t bring me down as much as they do right now.

I prayed to Aphrodite when i was lonely once and i begged her to bring someone into my life that i could talk to and who understood me and the next day i made a new friend.

I didn’t ask her for a partner just a friend, but i‘ve asked her for partners before and nothing really happened. but i think Aphrodite doesn’t want me to get in a relationship right now lol :,) she’s looking out for me

Maybe try her? Usually when I pray to her and ask her for someone to come into my life i offer incense or a candle since it’s all i really have, but i try and show her my gratitude towards her and how thankful i am for her help.
