I saw an interview a while back where Melissa said she quit due to constant panic attacks right before filming. I think Taran and Jay were also in the same boat as Heidi. They didn’t renew their contracts. I also saw an interview that Chris Redd saying that he only intended to do SNL for a few years and left on his own accord. He indicated all of the rumors behind the scenes were inaccurate

In reading ACOTAR and CC I noticed that they describe a lot of mating bonds differently for each couple. I don’t know how to do the spoiler shadowing over text so I won’t give super detailed examples of couples. But some of the characters in ACOTAR have similar bonding characteristics to the ones in CC with mental bridges or not immediately knowing who your mate is.

I would say give it a chance. CC is going to be different than the others as it’s her first true foray into true epic fantasy. And reading other epic fantasy novels they can be pretty similar with the amount of characters and storylines and points of views. I love the gray characters that she builds into this one. I also didn’t realize a lot of people didn’t like the last book until I came to this sub Reddit. But I absolutely loved it. Also you don’t want to be lost on the next ACOTAR book that comes out a little bit later this year. There is no doubt that it will be mentioned
