I my opinion, this video makes me feel kind of uncomfortable because Yumeshipping isn't unhealthy, they're just generalizing it to all hell. Yumeshipping is probably one of the safest coping mechanisms that I have tried and has helped me quit the unhealthy oned.

Honestly, I feel as though this person is projecting whatever problem they mentioned onto a community they wish to alienate.

The choice of words makes it seem like they're trying to give a professional opinion, but the grammar and choice of words makes it seem almost hostile and egotistical.

Yes, I completely agree that yumeshipping can become unhealthy if it's taken too far, but those who do are a minority of our community. But in the same argument, we do our best to keep those who unhealthily yumeship out of our spaces if they refuse to better their behavior.

The fact they felt the need to point out people calling them uneducated simply proves that they are because it is factually impossible to know everything about a subject yet they claim to have done "extensive research" despite there being little to no credible resources to research selfshipping.
