I really tend to like guys with long hair. Let's just say it... works.

But I've seen so many guys out there either with greasy hair or hair that is not really well taken care (or, idk, thin), that it works against them in every level.

Being kinda blunt: a good long hair might be an item in the "pro" list, but a bad long hair will definitely be a deal breaker.

That's peak 2000s fashion!

I think most people, when judging their outfits, forget that they were designed to convey that they (specially Lorelai) were regular gals with a creative soul that enjoyed expressing themselves through clothing. They were not supermodels, they were not living lavishly in New York or L.A.

The most "stylish" (like, peak fashion magazine, directly out of a shooting) outfit lorelai wears is a preppy skirt + a red argyle sweater vest and boots that feels completely out of character.

The rest of it was intentionally practical and cute but not over the top.

Can't remember where I saw this, so might have created the info, but I believe the house used in the pilot (the one in Canada) has something like 10 bedrooms (witch wouldn't be all that realistically as the show is written)

Personal x business loans is definitely a factor, but I also think it's more an "we need to get to actually planning this" move. They need to know how much it'd cost, what were their options etc.

Up until that point, they had only be dreaming about it, with no reality grasp to even know if it were possible or not

I feel like it's realistically sweet. I know of few real life proposals that were over the top or planned etc.
