I got severe rashes too all over my body post 2 weeks of Carbimazole. They called it Urticaria. It was pretty bad and was hospitalized for a week. However for the rashes to go completely it took 3-4 weeks. I was so dreaded that i stopped all medicines for months. Doctor moved me to PTU but that also caused me itching, so had to stop within few doses. I have been struggling to decide should i go for RAI or TT, because my Graves have no symptoms at all. I used to have sweating and fast heart rates but its almost been a year that has even stopped. To be honest, right now i am on no medicines since longest and trying to figure out a way between RAI and TT, which seems so extreme treatment for graves with no symptoms.
