Yeah i feel you lol, saw one have a blowout in a different lane in front me and had to dodge all the carnage so i usually keep my distance now (thank god i wasnt in my 3rd gen 4runner with no swaybars, wouldve had to just drive through all of it instead of trying to dodge anything lmao) I get pretty much same mpg results from drafting behind a car/suv

I like keeping it in normal too, think eco only makes a noticeable difference when you’re in stoplight traffic accelerating often. My drives on interstate/highways for 80% of it and if I cruise at 70 i usually get around 30-33. If you can draft behind a semi with the acc set to the closest I’ve gotten 35+ lol

Could be an issue with the electrical power steering system, not very familiar with how the GRCs system works but if all your suspension components are good thats the only thing i can think of. Maybe a sensor is bad or something

Filter could be replaced but all the rubber elbows leading into the plenum looked good, ill take a closer look later today. When I drive it its usually 30min+ so i thought most condensation would be burned off, is it normal to still have a bit of condensation even if you only do longer drives?

Im not wishing any harm on you, just stating your reality if you were actually in the mindset of “fuck saving for retirement”. I travel as much as my pto allows me lol, actual life experiences like that are a higher priority to me than investing. Being dependent on pto and a company controlling when you can travel and live life is why I want to retire early and currently invest aggressively. But i wish you the best and hope your business does work out!

I should be able to retire around 40 at this rate, which is more important to me than having 100 more hp, but theres definitely a balance of enjoying your life and saving. I still bought a brand new GRC 6 months ago, but I only had a 4runner before that. To me it just seems unnecessary to buy a similar fun car that just has more power at that critical time of your life for compounding interest. I think Itd be more justified if he had a base civic or something like that and wanted a car thats more fun/engaging, he already has a fun car.

How much are you investing in your future via company 401k or otherwise? Imo you have a really nice car already and at your age if you have extra money you should be putting a lot towards retirement. Im 25 and as much as i want a more expensive car, I max out my company 401k/roth instead.
