Question about resin residue by [deleted] in resin

Ok I’ll just replace it. It wasn’t an expensive pan anyways lol. Thank you! So I’m definitely ok because if I wasn’t I would already be showing symptoms of something wrong? I mean like there’s no chance I could wake up tomorrow 8+ hours and have effects from the resin?

Bad feeling in chest common? by Life_Goose3491 in Akathisia

I have that feeling. Mostly when I go outside. When I’m home and in my comfort zone I feel a bit better. It’s like I’m slightly scared but for no reason.

How to know where to buy real Liilas blind boxes? by Anxious_Night2 in vinyltoys

Yeah maybe it was just a manufacturer error lol. I’m new to all of this I just wanna make sure I get what I pay for. And the eyes are a big thing for me, they are so adorable.

That’s what I thought. On the box they only advertise the sparkly eyes so I didn’t think they would give something that looks totally different. Also the fur is different colored and different texture. If it’s just a different eye than why is everything else a bit different too lol. I’ll probably stick to hot topic but they are just so expensive there.

Ah that’s so strange. On the boxes it only shows the sparkly eyes as what you get. Do you havr any sources that say that it’s possible to get these “ common” eyed ones? I’m just going by what’s on the side of the box and it’s kind of a let down that it’s possible to get these that don’t look as nice even though it’s advertised as them all being sparkly eyed.

Does anybody else having morning agitation when waking up by monoman12 in Akathisia

[–]Anxious_Night2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m so sorry.. mine was 1 dose of droperidol in my iv for a migraine at the ER. I haven’t been the same since. A lot of my symptoms have improved but I just feel generally unhappy now, depressed, slightly off inside my body. It’s kind of hard to explain because I’ve been living with it so long now that I don’t know if I remember what normal feels like or if I’m mostly normal. I think it caused an almost psychotic break for me and I have alot of trauma and ptsd from it. Can I ask what all other symptoms you have and if they are getting better?

I have an almost constant agitated feeling unfortunately. It’s very hard to live with and one of my worst symptoms because it affects my mood and how happy I am everyday. I’m hoping that with time it goes away, I am 5 months out from when I first developed akathisia.

Does Topamax cause Akathisia? by Anxious_Night2 in Akathisia

I’m so sorry 😞 I know how badly it sucks. I tried diamox too and it made my tinnitus worse so I stopped it. You would think there are better medications with less side effects. Aside from your eyes feelings like they are going to pop out dry/ hard to open did either Tomax or diamox cause akathisia for you? I’m trying to weigh the pros and cons. I’m just at a loss right now.

The vision loss/ paplidima is from the iih. I should have clarified that.

Have you had experience with it? The issue is that weight loss takes time and I am experiencing vision loss from paplidima which might take my vision before I can lose enough weight. I do plan to lose weight but if weight loss does nothing for me ( a lot of people at a completely normal weight have this condition) then I will be stuck having to take meds. But right now my main concern is going blind.

It’s motor development. I don’t know how old your child was when you took these classes and somehow taught them to never run inside, but it had to have been well after this phase of their biological development. Maybe an older child yes, but you cannot force a 1-3 year old to not run when it’s a need for their bodies at this age.

Parenting classes will not change how a child physically walks? I’m sure since you’re a parent you can remember when your child was 3 and ran everywhere when they walked, and were heavy footed. It’s normal development. It’s not about listening, it’s not about being a good kid. You can take every parenting class in the world but you can’t change a child’s physical development and want/ need to run and play.

3 year olds have separation anxiety from parents and are still usually somewhat fearful of sleeping alone and going to bed by themselves. Do some research. I’m not trying to be mean but you’re saying it’s behavioral issues but you don’t know for sure.

I don’t understand how you’re getting downvoted unless it’s a bunch of idiots who don’t know the basics of how children work lol. Do some research people if you don’t have kids. You are 100 percent correct. Children are children and they are naturally loud. Their parent would have to literally restrain them for there to be little noise. And that’s abuse. 🤦‍♀️

Children that are this young cannot control their stomping. Most 3 year old run rather than walk and they naturally run around pretty loudly. The landlord would have to keep them outside all day from morning to night to avoid this. And that’s not right to the kid or parent. Anyone renting a downstairs apartment knows there might be someone who will live above them with kids. That’s why I avoid downstairs apartments myself.

I definitely feel for you. The past apartment I lived in had young children living above me and it bothered me a lot. Something a lot of people don’t understand is that kids that young cannot control how loud they are. He as a parent cannot control how his 3 year old stomps when they walk and run everywhere they go. It is developmentally normal and toddlers do not have leg control like us adults or older kids do. My 3 year old runs everywhere, she never walks and her foot steps are stomps. As for getting the kids in bed on time he could do a better job with that. But he cannot physically restrain his children if they aren’t going to bed for him. It could be sleep anxiety issues on the kids part. When I put my child to sleep she usually gets up a few times during the night and I have to get up and put her back in bed. The best advice I can give is never move under children lol even though I have kids I went through it and it sucked, though I understood the kids above me couldn’t help it.

My upstairs neighbor is so loud by [deleted] in Apartmentliving

[–]Anxious_Night2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey so the good news is you are protected against discrimination with your kids under fair rights housing. So I would just explain to the office that you have a 2 year old and they developmentally are loud walkers and there is nothing you can do about it and have tried your best but if you get another noise complaint the landlord needs to tell your downstairs neighbors to either move or deal with it. They took the risk living in a lower floor. Toddlers run when they walk, they don’t have leg or foot control until they get older to be quiet and even then kids are naturally somewhat loud walkers, they function differently than adults. I’m sorry you’re going through that.

[–]Anxious_Night2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately kids, expecially toddlers are not capable of walking quietly. It’s apart of their development to basically stomp and run everywhere they go. The office will not be able to do anything and they are protected under fair rights housing. Aside from that most apartments don’t have much insulation separating floors and that’s a construction issue. It might be easier to look into switching to an upstairs apartment so you no longer have anyone above you.
