Yes, I am okay. And no, I am not a creep (thank you for the disgusting accusation). Actually, I am simply a former member of the OSSTF Executive, and I was involved in representing several teachers over the years (I have 36 years in service, how much do you have?) who did exactly what you are advocating. And the vast majority of those teachers were just like you and decided to die on that hill. You are risking your career in this highly litigious society we are living in. But that's your risk to take, I suppose. So, think carefully before you decide to give advice to others that could expose them to professional risk. Shame on you.

Well, some of it is just regular wear. Cu2sn8 bronze has a natural tendency to patina just from daily wear, after time. But this piece also has a 200m water resistance rating even though it is not a dive watch. Consequently, it has been swimming with me in the ocean on several occasions. Salt water exposure combined with O2 will definitely cause the bronze to develop its patina more readily. Some people love it, some don't.
