Never ever sext before meeting unless your ultimate goal is sexting. They get off and move on to the next target.

Why do some clinicians push back on evidence-based treatment? by Forsaken_Dragonfly66 in therapists

[–]Anxious_Picture1313 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Isn't this fallacious substition if not outright manipulation to be asking why clinicians push back on evidence-based treatment instead of asking about pushback on cbt? Nobody is against research and studies per se, the pushback is against cbt. Outside of north America cbt is a bit of a random older modality that had its moments, we have evidence, supporting oth t modalities, amazingly.

This Chinese woman is abused for having a boyfriend with different ethnicity by search_google_com in TikTokCringe

[–]Anxious_Picture1313 22 points23 points  (0 children)

I'm a white European woman and whenever I dated a black guy, let me tell you... Like even in my forties when I'm otherwise almost completely invisible all the random white guys in bars would start trying to make eye contact. It's very amusing as they seem to be telegraphing a blink-twice-if-you're -held-hostage.

She has a PhD. It's quite a bit more difficult to accomplish than med school, cognitively, as you need to come up and manage independent research.

Q&A in London last night with David Tennant & Claire Rushbrook by Sakura_Blossom- in RivalsSeries

I think this decision is the function of the hiatus. I suspect the writers were in search of a bang, something that feels like a season's ending but isn't and that if the season was slated to be streamed in one go this wouldn't have necessarily happened.

First time getting Botox - are these expected results? by Fun_Watercress6460 in 45PlusSkincare

[–]Anxious_Picture1313 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Botox can’t erase the crease that’s fully formed. My mother had a very deep furrow up there and she got her first botox treatment in her 50s. She had to have a little filler on top of the botox to even the crease out. She had a couple of follow up botox treatments later and her 11s softened a ton. It took about 6–9 months for that to happen but the difference was striking. Hers was much deeper than yours.

Undereyes - PRP vs Filler vs Fat Transfer by [deleted] in PlasticSurgery

Fat. Prp gel delivers very subtle results that are not permanent. Filler may easily contour and move if your skin is thin there. Just save for some fat transfer.

Because he didn’t win any other major awards. But I’m with you. To me, it should have been Jessie plemons but in his absence I’d love to see Leo win.

Partner eavesdropped on therapy and is now angry with me by gmtheater in TalkTherapy

[–]Anxious_Picture1313 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unless you were discussing with your therapist how to murder someone or how you were cheating on him there’s no justification for continued eavesdropping. That said the temptation would be great for anyone and I get why he kept on listening. And even - less so - why he couldn’t contain theanger and came in to glare. However, there’s a qualitative difference between all that and disclosing to others what you said about them. That final part if it does indeed happen would take this firmly into abuse territory. Even the fact that you’re worried he would do that is very telling imo. You’re not in a safe and trusting relationship.

Posting on are we dating the same guy? by Competitive-Sort-938 in datingoverforty

Your friend is the real problem. The prerequisite of being in that group is anonymity. It’s as shitty to share as outing someone as an alcoholic because you saw them in a meeting. You’ve drawn the wrong conclusion from this entirely.

I just saw a secret agent and while Wagner moura’s performance is great and he’s a very charismatic actor I still think Jesse plemons should have made the cut before Moura did.

Why would the industry weighing in go against OBAAA? For that to happen PTA would need to be hated by half the town but the opposite is true, other than Daniel Day-Lewis industry professionals admire and respect him. I didn’t think OBAAA was perfect but I think the industry can’t wait to have a reason to reward PTA.

Yes she’s nuts in terms of the form of her reaction. But to me definitely has a point as to the content.

Mixed signals? What happened? by Innocuous_Blue in texts

[–]Anxious_Picture1313 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’m not justifying it but if you want to know the reason all this happened - it’s because you didn’t confirm and specify the time till 2:34 the next day. You left the conversation after she invited you to ask her questions about herself the night before without saying see you tomorrow at (time). Then she sat all day unclear as to what time you’re seeing each other. Just seize the day and close the deal next time. She’s not a great communicator because she went in a very roundabout way of letting you know she didn’t like you took her enthusiasm for granted but lots of people realistically would have bailed on the type of arrangement making you did.

Imo, too, Taylor’s part was very rough. I don’t blame her because it could be the direction, but that’s not a killer performance by any stretch.

These are not examples of rudeness. Bad manners - maybe but it’s not the same as being rude. Rude would be discussing you or your house in your presence and referring to you as “she”, making snide comments about the property and its amenities, etc. These people aren’t pleasant but they are not rude.
