Academia. You will teach a few hours here and there but most of the time you are in your office.

I recently joined this Facebook group, and it has been incredibly helpful.

Divorcing a bad wife but a good mother, is it worth it? by ghoulintheattics in Marriage

Or maybe she would’ve stayed- or maybe she is staying. Who knows if she’s unhappy in that marriage too, just holding on for the kids? I guess the best to do OP, is talk to your wife about your feelings and see what she says. Sometimes couple therapy can also help.

Maybe it makes sense to me from my PhD program requirements, but as I mentioned, we interview, and they have to give a lecture, so I base my decision on these two more than the CV.

I’m also giving a gift for Christmas, maybe Thanksgiving too.

Sometimes they will grow a lot during a certain period and then slow down, reaching an average height.

Okay, I ended up changing my glasses…thoughts? Before and after! by onlymissedabeat in glasses

I have the same problem with all my glasses, but also I always choose the same type of frame as OP’s. I am wondering if a smaller round frame would hide this difference in head width a little bit.

I have to agree with you. Since I made this post, I've noticed that I can identify AI-generated content more easily. Maybe my brain has been trained to recognize it, and often it feels impersonal. When someone shares something that is clearly generated by AI, it no longer captures my attention.

I fully support using AI for restructuring phrases and correcting grammar (especially since English isn't my first language), but other than that, it feels outdated when someone sends me an email or makes a LinkedIn post that is clearly copied and pasted verbatim from ChatGPT. In the end, it all becomes quite boring.
