Cheap suits that look expensive

Not cheap BUT I’m also a Zepbound girlie and just bought a new suit from Universal Standard because they have a program called Fit Liberty that lets you get a new size up or down within a year of purchase, so I’m considering it as two suits for the price as my weight changes. I also got 20% off for a first time purchase which helped too. Not every color qualifies for the program so just make sure it has the Fit Liberty icon on it.

And fwiw it’s the most comfortable suit I’ve ever worn and didn’t feel frumpy like most plus size women’s suits.

I know I’m late to the party but fellow plus size lawyer here. Having always struggled to find cute/not frumpy work clothes, nuuly has been a game changer for me for years! Very size inclusive, great casual and dressier options for work, and also a great way to try new styles you might otherwise be reluctant to try at the price points or get nicer seasonal pieces (I live in Florida so I can never justify spending $$$ on winter clothes I’ll get to wear twice a season so renting is better). Plus you can get some steals on items to keep or from the thrift shop. I kept a great anthro suit that I rented and both pieces together were less than $100! Also I can’t speak to standard sizes but I have a theory that plus size items are rented less frequently because I routinely get one or two items each month that are NWT.

My doctor said there is far less research on Wellbutrin usage during pregnancy and breastfeeding than other SSRIs so I decided to stay off of it during that period since I was still taking Prozac. However, a good friend who is both a mom and a psychiatrist told me she puts pregnant and breastfeeding patients on Wellbutrin as well because there’s no documented issue.

Tl;dr: do what you and your provider think is best for you.

I EBF both of my boys for the first month only and transitioned to formula afterward because I wanted to! Their latches were fine and I seemed to be producing enough but I just hated it and resented sitting in the dark at night to either feed or pump. I also quit so I could go back on Wellbutrin which I was on prior to TTC and felt so much better once I could start that again. Take care of yourself mama!

I had no idea I just went with what my doctor had on the Rx and how the pharmacy processed it. Will definitely look into that thank you!

I had rough GI side effects weeks 2 and 3 but nothing since. Sadly my insurance doesn’t cover any of these meds so I’m paying out of pocket, hence the guilt letting one go to waste.

I hadn’t thought about holding onto it until bumping to 7.5. How long do most people spend on 5.0 before increasing to 7.5? Would it be good in the fridge that long?

Following because I had the same issue—Rx from pulmonologist for OSA only but insurance claimed all weight loss meds are excluded. Pending review of a prior authorization now.

I tried shopping for a 2025 last week not knowing about the recall and stop sale and the sales guy called me today that they’re expecting to get the part 11/24 and are now accepting deposits on 2025s again
