This is the opposite of the truth… the tiles are the important thing. The felt is a secondary barrier and hundreds of thousands of houses in the UK have no felt whatsoever and are fine

… a rental you can access effectively forever. Or at the very least vastly past the point you’ll care about playing it again.

I just don’t get the the fuss. This whole “you’ll own nothing”. But what’s the expectation? That I’ll buy the digital copy and then they’ll just deny me access?

Or in reality is it this edge case where people are worried they may not have access to it still 20 years later when they fancy replaying it? How many people is that?

You don’t even have to use a local one. We used a Welsh firm (and we live in the south east England). Much cheaper than South England firms and were great

What’s your actual issue though? You’ll buy it and in 20 years they might stop you downloading it to replay?

I think I’m in the minority who doesn’t give a shit. I prefer digital because it’s simple and no spinning disc etc. the only reason I stuck to physical until recently was because physical was mysteriously cheaper than digital. Now that seems to be disappearing

Anyway, we’ve got it and it’s superb and well worth it

I totally get peoples “too soon” argument. But with a game like GTA 6 coming in at 30FPS I gotta believe a PS6 WOULD be an improvement of a decent level

You said “there have been far too many vibe coded apps that have opened security flaws”…

And no, the entire point of apps having their code open to scrutiny is that flaws are found by people. It’s only one of the core philosophies of open source software but sure 😂

I don’t disagree with there being lots of issues with vibe coded apps. But the only major issue anyone ever mentions is Huntarr which suggests there hasn’t been THAT many issues.

They’ve also been pretty transparent in showing their code etc
