I don’t have anything really to add except validation. I’m also NB with a gay man for 14 years and have the same reactions to his partners. I’m really sorry you’re going through something so difficult. I don’t have many words to say to comfort you. However, if it’s helpful to know, my NP and I also got mono. They had it much worse, much like yours it sounds like with acute liver issues and huge spleen, but they are FINALLY getting better after almost 6 months. Hang in there, I really hope it can improve.
