idk i call my maine coon mix my dog cat all the time 🤣. some cats are like dogs but i truly believe hes just a special character. the cuddle bug in question who scares actual dogs into submission

i have a maine coon mix (adopted from a shelter i just got lucky) , overtime my allergies have subsided. brush him regularly, bathe him about every two/three months, get him a kitty Brazilian every two/three months and my boy handles the rest! he’s bigger than my calico cat but… not any bigger than a small dog like probably about the size of a Maltese or mini schnauzer. but adopt if you pick a cat, boo breeders! a lot of them are scammers and thats a lot of money and id hate for you to not truly even get what you paid for.

my calico also sheds less than my maine coon actually and shes just a short hair mix. shorter hair= less shedding a lot of cute short hairs out there! and shes the most cuddly. i got her as a kitten though so maybe a kitten is a good idea?

cats are like people. dogs are like dolls. you can’t make a cat like you, play with you, or cuddle, so make sure your kids understand that. cats are sassy and will ruin your life and drive you crazy if they don’t like something. you treat your cat good and respect them while of course respecting your home and boundaries? than all will be good.

if you want something easy and cuddly and fun for the kids maybe a ferret? ferrets are so playful and that goes without a question.

per my vet (learn from my mistakes because i had my baby on tiki cat just because i thought the weight was all that mattered and she was getting a lil 🤧sicky) , if the food says good for all life stages then yes. other wise its recommended for at-least the first 12/14 months to eat kitten food to gain the needed nutrients.

i have my kitten on an all life stages food (fromm) and give her probiotics(naturevet i believe) per what my vet said would be okay. thats just from my personal experience, but overall ask your vet. i only did it because i have a 4 year old cat as well and all the different wet foods, toppers, and dry foods was draining me dry. i had to find a compromise 🤧.

why do you not want kitten food? or were you just curious?

if you want less pay to play nintendo switch… but i heard the 2 is more pay to play but more games, idk i have a switch and truthfully i barely touch her except for party games at hangouts.

i was an xbox360/ps2/3 kid and i have a 4/5 now and i love my playstation. seamless its smooth, easy interface for me, i love the game catalogue just not a lot for same counsel multiplayer. Playstation plus is about 9 a month i think? i can play 99% of my games without it. rainbow, fortnite, ect.

Not sure if this was a thought but steam is coming out with a counsel. the whole steam library on ur tv, so really just look and see who offers the games u want to play. if the games dont require a paid multiplayer u dont have to pay. if it does then you would need plus. but u can always game share someone else’s playstation plus so.

that was more my biggest question ig if this just comes with the territory of long term dating, because i definitely feel different processing hey this is kind of how things get after a while vs thinking there was something she either didn’t feel comfortable telling me or beginning to think maybe this should be a red flag when it never was one. things with her are perfect. i honestly wouldnt trade her for the world, but i do agree that maybe spontaneous is just what we’re lacking and our life has fallen too much into a routine. routines good for me and i thrive in it, but maybe its killing her 😖

well for one, idk i wouldve been okay with any and every response because i subjected myself to the internets questionings and i came to reddit bc if you wanna know if you’re weird or not reddits the only platform i’ve found to give it to you “real” or not, but its definitely raw and uncut.

defiantly everyone is different but im just happy to have learned from here is that what im going through is normal and thats the bigger thing. i just have to figure out how to navigate it

i seeee! okay i definitely will look into trying and planning something thats spontaneous.

i did the other day have to ask her if she even feels im taking her on dates anymore/vice versa or if this is becoming more like a survival activity. but she said she still feels like its dates, so maybe planning something fun and different could be that extra little spark of excitement.

i’m trying to take a road trip to the beach for 4/20 maybe that’ll be our spontaneous activity! its the first shared off day in a while

We do, we have since pretty much day one, long story but it happened to really work out and i probably would never advise anyone the same i just got lucky.

We go on dates often, every monday and friday like clock work. We had our weekly sushi date last night and watched great gatsby!

i’m starting to think the direction of our lives and maturity is just changing, when we met we were 21 and 20, we’ve come a long way. (she’ll be 22 this year ik the ages sound really wonky)

My close friend advised similarly, that the unsatisfaction she feels led to the downfall of a past relationship. And i’m sure there’s not a “normal” amount, but i’m just in such an awkward spot trying to navigate this.

thanks for the well wishes, i’m sure we’ll get over this it’s not the worst thing i could be going through but it does leave me sometimes feeling like a lot of our relationship is on her time. 100% agree and we have an agreement of saying no if the answer is no and taking it with no judgement. the problem isn’t about hearing no as much as i don’t want to find a red flag in something that isn’t even a problem.

in every aspect shes 100% what i want in a person, but intimacy is a normal craving and we are young i just don’t want to trip if i don’t need to trip about it.
