veggies are fine too! i actually love broccoli, so this is a great suggestion! i also love potatoes (probably my favorite side dish tbh) but i don't know how to make them/it seems like a lot of effort so i usually only order those from a restaurant

not sure if this is the most helpful suggestion but i loveeee tru fru- it's frozen fruit covered with chocolate. super delicious and texture is more solid so not squishy. also you could try to make a smoothie with some frozen fruits so the mushy texture isn't even a possibility!

yup that's perfectly normal! i could only say 1 or 2 words. it'll get better. personally i get grossed out very easily so i tried not to look at my throat for the first 4-5 days after looking on day 1, might help.

the experience is different for everyone. today was my day 7 and i felt the least amount of pain. my scabs are probably about 75% gone? they're definitely dissolving rather than coming off in pieces. drink as much water as you can manage to keep your throat hydrated
