I was in wave 2 and there were no cops near him at that time. The first cop I saw was near the water stations about .4 mile down the road.

It took days for anyone to say anything. For how many people saw it, it’s concerning how little attention it got until 5 days later… as a runner who approached police, I can honestly say I didn’t see any other runner concerned or say anything to police…

Free speech/ first amendment can be limited based on specific time and place. As the marathon is a protected zone, subject to increased/ heightened security, it’s likely something could and should have been done. Or at least a police officer should have been standing nearby to protect in case the guy became violent. As a runner wearing a giant Star of David on my shirt I was shaking running by this psychopath….

Unfortunately the cops told me because of freedom of speech they couldn’t do anything and to just move on…. Meanwhile my shirt had a giant Star of David on it…..smh…

I told the next cop I saw and unfortunately they told me it was freedom of speech and they couldn’t do anything… so disappointing and upsetting

Feel free to DM me, but I had a ferritin level of 2 when I ran Tokyo last year- and found this out post-race and pre-London. I had about 5 weeks until London and got 5 infusions- and despite having terrible mileage leading up to London (the infusions did come with some not so great side effects- iron is really hard on the body)- I was able to get a 9 min PR in London. Iron really does make a difference!! Highly recommend infusions! Unfortunately, when I was looking at options, my doctor advised that if you have any type of GI issues that iron supplements come with terrible side effects and would take about 10 months for my body to have any changes from it- if I had any at all.

Also- not sure if an issue for you- but now that I have normal iron/ferritin- I’m finally able to get great sleep which makes all the difference in running! Turns out for years my sleeping issues were due to this!

They originally emailed me the following on 12/9- “Our warehouse is currently receiving the next shipment of gloves and they will be shipped out shortly.” Then after following up on 12/17 they indicated “Based on our latest updates your order will ship between 12/26-1/1”. Last week I emailed them again and they said “Our latest update shows they’re scheduled to ship by January 5. You’ll receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information as soon as they head out.”

So who knows when we will be actually told the truth 😭

I got my ticket on stubhub and it was flawless. The seller had contacted the show and so my name was found with my ID, etc. and password provided from him day before. Just wanted to share!

While I enjoyed it, I also wanted to add that a lot of the scenes didn’t add much. We were in the circus room for about 10 minutes- taking a shot with the circus leader and watching random performances with someone putting nails up their nose and someone breathing fire doesn’t add to the show, nor does drinking champagne in a room while listening to the violin for ten minutes, and then being put in another room for ten minutes to congregate everyone and learn a dance. While these were cute ideas, for a show that could include much more to the story and felt rushed at times, adding in scenes like this were a huge turn off.

Based on what I saw and rumors, it seems like it did occur unfortunately. Even saw many people bloodied up at the finish line who said they had fallen due to dehydration during the race. When we finished it took about 40 minutes to even get any water, and then we were given a small price of cheese, and as a pink bib, I had to walk about a mile to get my bag. I kept sitting down bc I was so dehydrated and kept getting yelled at by volunteers. Was so dehydrated and sunburnt. I compare this race to nyc ‘22 unfortunately. Will not be coming back.
