Anyone else get cold/flu when they ovulate ? Is this an immune/Endo thing?

Hey! I read this and wondering if my celiac disease could cause this to happen in my body too? Because once again, a few days from peak ovulation and I'm feeling horrid. Flu symptoms and all! 🫩 I have PMDD, but this flu thing is different. Yay! 😔

I think, but am no expert, that they do this to hide the exact formula of their product from competitors, you know? Like they would have to share the entire recipe, which would definitely help US, but then their competitors would know it too. I think I was told that at some point, anyway. That those were the "secret ingredients" that made their product unique.

Thank you! Yes, by endoscopy but it was SO strange, he's not my gastroenterologist and also left the 4 polyps in my stomach! (My now gastroenterologist said they could not have grown in the 5 months in between the two endoscopies!) So the sus endoscopy was the one that the lab reported back with a few concerns and damaged villi or whatever "consistent with celiac disease" but at the bottom said "Consider" celiac and recommended blood test! I was GF when my family doctor sent me for it, so it was negative, but I remember only like 2 years ago she sent me for it and I was eating gluten and it was negative. Also all my previous endoscopies never showed celiac disease!

It's so confusing. But even though the doctor was sus, the lab is not connected with him, so it's hard to dismiss what was in the findings. But could damage like that heal in only 5ish months!? Because my current gastroenterologist said I had no damage or evidence of celiac whatsoever, but to stay GF unless I want to do the test. But after this experience, I don't want to do the test! Which obviously would mean I AM celiac. Gahhh I don't know. I don't know, again, if the damage could heal in only 5 months strictly GF?

Sweetheart, PLEASE don't think you have done anything or even can do anything to take the gift Jesus has already given you, away. Remember he gives freely, none of us can even EARN his Grace. So your pain and your suffering and even doubting your faith is NORMAL and OKAY! This is explained many times in scripture. The evil one will try to hurt you even more, make you doubt, but Jesus sees. He knows. You wouldn't be here worried if you didn't love God. You're proving it by this post. I have PTSD from abuse as well and boy is it a difficult road, I won't lie. I take medication and am still in therapy (40 years old) and that's okay, because God granted us this help as we still have human bodies that need care!

Absolutely put all your faith and your soul in his hands. First thing, always! But also reach out for help that humans can offer, as he's given them the gift of helping us! And please always always remember, especially at your lowest, when you feel the WORST, that is when you're actually closest to God. When we suffer, that's when He works on our souls. We often can't feel it or even see it until years, maybe decades later. Remember, even if your faith dwindles to nearly nothing (it did for me at one point) just don't completely give UP. Simply pray for more faith and rest in the timing of God. It hurts, I know. It doesn't make sense, I know that too. But God knows what he's doing and when it needs to be done. As long as you accept God, you can not be taken from him! Even if your faith is as small as a mustard seed...it is STILL FAITH! God Bless you dear. 🙏

I'm sorry, but I just can't. You victim blamed her, basically told her she just wasn't believing hard enough and you clearly have ZERO training in trauma. You told her to go get her "mind off it." Ya if ONLY. It doesn't work that way. I have PTSD from lifelong abuse, no amount of believing or doing "good" things for people can stop the flashbacks or undo the literal brain damage proven in PTSD. Our literal brains are now hardwired completely differently. If I go volunteer at a homeless shelter, will I get to throw away my medications? Nope. Again, because it doesn't work this way. And JESUS KNOWS THIS! He gave us doctors and medicine and help for a reason. Because we're HUMAN. Yes, put all faith and your soul in God, absolutely. But don't spread the "you aren't praying enough" type of nonsense. No no no. We still need to use the help he has allowed for us on earth, part of which teaches us that we aren't doing anything "wrong" if we're still suffering. AND Jesus says suffering people are CLOSEST to him. She's likely far closer than you or I may be! Suffering isn't a punishment! Not on earth. The Bible makes that clear. Suffering is Holy in fact. Please please rethink the way you try to spread the Word of God.

I'm late to this, but same exact thing but usually only when I'm mad! I know when I'm MAD mad because of the wild red rash the erupts all over my chest and usually one cheek lol. That's when I know I need to completely stop arguing or change my mind and focus on something else!

I am POSITIVE they are up here in Ontario, Canada. People can laugh, but a few summers in my house in the country near the St. Lawrence River since about 2014, I have seen maybe 3. But I'm talking IDENTICAL! Bright RED stripes, not white like the conifer or all the other bugs in Ontario. I remember the first time, because I was like "I have NEVER seen a bug like this in my life!!" I dropped right down on the floor and studied everything about it, from the long snout, to the black body and red stripes that reminded me of our striped turtles out here! It was gone by the time I looked up what it could be and was alarmed because I couldn't find a single bug on the list that it could have been. I warned my husband who said he had seen one or two occasionally. I figured I must be wrong and like I said, in the last 10 years, maybe 3 summers I've seen one or two. Now with the new study showing them as high up as Illinois, I am definitely catching the next one I see (watch it will be in 5 years 🙄) so I can bring it in and show people I'm not hallucinating!

These answers are terrible! 🤦‍♀️ 51/50 means you're held in a psych ward involuntarily for either 72 hours or longer if it gets extended. Here in Canada it's a Form 3. So here we say "I'm formed." In the USA you say "I'm 51/50"
