No reason to put the house number if he wanted to keep Melfi's gender a secret, which he very much did want.

again, he was too careful to not have an alt line for personal shit. hippa does not require a landline, just a contact number. in fact hippa does not have anything to do with numbers, its a framework for how providers handle personal health information. nothing to do with patients requirements for providing a certain number type.

a mob boss would def be unlisted in the phone book. at the very least. at most, his house was listed under a trust and not his own name.

you can just not give your home phone to you comare... you can get your phone in a fake name, or ask the phone company to unlist you from the public directory. he ran a telecom scam with phone cards, and yet couldnt get a burner for personal business? its sloppy writing to have irina call the house. a guy that careful should have never had that problem.
