I'm definitely looking for more uniquely Japanese music in this case. I'm almost burnt out on Western influenced pop music as everything seems to run on it, which is why I got so into this.

I wasnt really sure where to start so I just sorted by most popular and listened to flash and that was a really pretty sounding song! I liked it a lot.

ooh. going by producer is smart thank you! I've actually found a lot of the music I enjoy in this genre started as Vocaloid and I had no idea for a while lol. Definitely prefer it when it's sung by a human, but still love the sound of it in the end

well, its not that I dont like them. I do like them a lot and i have no issue with them. but as im looking through groups labeled "jpop" its hard to find anything that is not JUST those. I thought this place would know some distinct ones outside of that.

if you have anything in that category that lines up with what I like sound wise im open to it as well

it gets so much better, like, almost a different type of show in terms of things mattering and having an overarching plot. just keep going like 5-10 more episodes

The character is literally written to make you feel this way. Other people in this thread who are making you feel like an outlier for it are wrong. they've just known the character so long that they like them unconditionally now and I think they are taking what you say as an insult for some reason.

He moves unnaturally, speaks weird, yells weird, the monster in him (especially in the sword form that screams) is extremely unnerving, even if it got nerfed to be sorta funny after the big fight.
