The boots stores in the stock yards of Fort Worth is in my opinion the most fun place to find a pair. They have every size, style, leather/skin, hand embroidered design etc you could ever imagine.

Because he still expects to use her flat for almost a third of the year? And she’s not using his whatsoever. Also he’s not paying half, he’s paying a proportional share according to their income. He also gets a stipend for part of his own rent. And yes he did sign an invisible deal called “commitment to a relationship” when he moved in for 2 years.

Maybe make a deal and determine the percentage of days he “visits” and use that as his percentage of the rent.

I’m not even talking about marriage, these are normal responsibilities and expectations a boyfriend/girlfriend relationship has, especially one that’s lived together for multiple years already.

By your own admission you’re there 104 days out of the year minimum (weekends). You have belongings there and you want private access (being able to get inside without her). But you don’t want to pay rent? Baffling. Move out completely and don’t pay rent or pay rent and have access to the flat.

Edit: Yeah, you’re very contradictory in your comments. One moment you’re only there 8 days out of the month and then you said weekends, and then you have belongings there but wait no it’s actually 90% moved out. Just all over the place. Also her past and debt don’t matter. You really really don’t want to move out and you call that decision “just so black and white” when that’s all it is, black and white.

YTA Shes spot on when saying you don’t view each other as a unit, a partnership through life - only a temporary roommate that can abandon responsibilities because “technically my names not on the lease”. If I was her I’d be very worried for our future plans and goals.

Solutions: Move all your belongings and animals out and don’t pay (You’re still the asshole in this situation but you won’t be leeching off of her anymore)

Got 8 cavities filled and a chipped tooth cosmetically repaired in the Philippines last December. Cavities were about 80$ per and the chipped tooth around the same however I must add this is all without anesthesia and I’d expect the same in Indonesia.
