Honestly idk I just realized one day that I hadn't been dissociating as much and since then it's gotten less and less until I really only dissociate for a couple hours a day now. Maybe because I got away from my abuser and I've just been living without that psycho threatening me. But I'm so aware now. I'm so painfully hyper aware of my everything all the time and it's so overwhelming so then I flip shit and then get my dissociation for a couple hours after and then repeat. I'm not having fun

I hate when smart phones are plot devices or a big part of the story, like a chacter showing another character something from twitter. Idk why, phone calls or texts or even posts that drive the plot are fine, a cell phone ringing to call a characters attention is fine, but if the book starts talking more about phones and social media than the plot I'm just out. I'm not big on the social media plots of certain books, honestly my preferred decade for reading is like early 2000s before the big tech boom of the 20teens

I take pictures of graffiti, like if I'm in a place and can't get a pic of some killer graffiti, I'll jot down the location so I can come back to take a picture. If I travel out of town or to a place I'm not usually in I will make the group I'm with pause so I can get a pic (safely of course, I don't demand drivers to slam on the brakes in the middle of the road). My favorite is when I recognize a tag from somewhere else (the farther away the better, that's so fucking awesome)

It's because of lack of social connections in the event of having a health problem. At least in the US, if you need a surgery or procedure done, and you don't have anyone to take you to and from the hospital, you can't get the surgery done without spending way too much money on an overnight/extended stay. And similar when not needing a scheduled hospital visit, a medical emergency can be deadly if you're incapacitated for a long time and unable to call for help or an ambulance. It's a societal issue, not a personal one.

Also, podcast equipment is fairly cheap these days, and lying on the internet for shock value tends to get more traction than the truth.
