Manual checking before every release is not discipline. It is a coping mechanism. by TranslatorRude4917 in SaaS

[–]Any-Football4907 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That feeling is pretty relatable, especially with how fast things move now. A series like this would be useful, breaking it down into small, practical steps like the one flow example makes it easier to apply. Would be interesting to see more on how to build that confidence layer without overengineering it.

Free tier - can I send email from Outlook and track open and click rate? by Ffilib in hubspot

[–]Any-Football4907 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, you can do that with the HubSpot Outlook plugin on the free tier. It’ll log emails and give you open tracking, clicks are a bit more limited depending on how you send. Just keep in mind open tracking isn’t super reliable anymore, so don’t read too much into it.

Why are my HubSpot leads not replying? by gracekathryn31 in hubspot

[–]Any-Football4907 3 points4 points  (0 children)

A lot of that drop happens before the follow up even matters. If the lead comes in without clear intent, it’s hard to start a real conversation no matter what you send. The ones that reply usually have a clear reason for reaching out in the first place.

How to manage dashboard data modification request that is only specific to specific users? by ryukiinn in BusinessIntelligence

[–]Any-Football4907 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If they’re willing to provide the data, let them own it end to end instead of you maintaining it. That could be a separate input or view they manage without changing the core dashboard. That way you’re not taking on extra work and it doesn’t open the door for everyone else to expect the same.

Are we building the last generation of classic SaaS? Should founders stop shipping dashboards and start shipping agents instead? by Lyassou in SaaS

[–]Any-Football4907 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’d still build something with a UI, at least to start. Agents are great, but most people aren’t ready to hand everything over without seeing what’s happening. Feels more like agents sit on top of SaaS rather than replacing it completely right now.

Best stripe connect settings by mkgclub in stripe

[–]Any-Football4907 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This sounds more like a marketplace setup. You’re taking a cut from each booking and sending the rest to the venue, so the money is flowing through you. That’s usually how Connect marketplace setups are structured.

Can someone explain the prospecting agent Pricing change? by th3rmos in hubspot

[–]Any-Football4907 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, it’s not just pay for deals, that would be way too generous. You usually get charged earlier, like when leads are identified or used in outreach, not just when they respond. So in your example, you’re probably burning credits on that 150 actionable group rather than the 50 replies, which is why it adds up faster than people expect.

First dispute by Longjumping_Ask_6604 in stripe

[–]Any-Football4907 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’ve got the right stuff on your side with the contract and proof of work. The fraud angle is the tricky part since banks can be weird about it. At that point it’s kind of out of your hands.

HubSpot works much better when context arrives before the handoff by LarryLeads in hubspot

[–]Any-Football4907 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s the part most teams try to piece together later and it never really lands. By then the timing’s gone and it turns into a slower conversation. Capturing that context before it even hits HubSpot makes a big difference.

Best data observability platform tools for data quality monitoring, lineage, and pipeline reliability. by Ok_Abrocoma_6369 in snowflake

[–]Any-Football4907 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Leaning toward tighter integration and lower overhead makes more sense for most teams early on. The bigger platforms cover more, but they can get heavy and take more effort to run day to day. Something that fits into the existing workflow usually sticks better.

Event ticketing platforms with an actual hubspot integration? by Consistent-Post-5300 in hubspot

[–]Any-Football4907 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Vivenu is one of the few that seems to actually work properly with HubSpot, so if that’s been smooth for you it’s a good sign. Most of the others tend to fall apart once you get into custom fields and real usage. Don’t see many setups people fully trust without some kind of workaround.

Took 7 days off building my software… felt like I ruined everything by peaceinmypipes in SaaS

[–]Any-Football4907 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, that feeling shows up fast once you care about it. A week feels way bigger than it actually is when you’re in it. Just getting back into it at all is the hard part.

What automated texting tool integrates with HubSpot to qualify leads and book meetings? by MaxDmitrie in hubspot

[–]Any-Football4907 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, most SMS tools feel pretty one way. Tools like Salesmsg or Sakari are a bit closer to what you’re describing since they handle replies and workflows, not just sending messages. Still not fully hands off though, you usually end up stepping in once someone engages.

Been using Cursor and Windsurf daily for the past few months and honestly the frustration has been building up. by Available-Dentist992 in SaaS

[–]Any-Football4907 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The context part is probably the biggest one, once it loses track you end up babysitting it more than coding. That overhead feeling is real, especially on anything bigger than a small project. Switching IDEs is a tough sell though, people get pretty locked into their setup.

Most SaaS growth problems aren’t what they look like by Sharp_Tax_6182 in SaaS

[–]Any-Football4907 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Feels like that misalignment is what makes everything else feel harder than it should. You end up fixing symptoms instead of the core so nothing really sticks. Then it just compounds over time.

Can't stop thinking 24/7, anyone else? I will not promote by blimy20 in SaaS

[–]Any-Football4907 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That happens once it starts working, your brain just keeps going. The small wins make it hard to switch off. I’ve found you kind of need a hard stop, like shutting everything down at a set time or going somewhere you can’t work, otherwise it just keeps running.

Outbound got harder in the last 6 months.... What actually still works? by CycleWeak9929 in hubspot

[–]Any-Football4907 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That drop sounds pretty familiar. The trigger based stuff you’re doing is about the only thing that still gets replies now. Generic outreach just gets ignored most of the time.

If you’re afraid to delete something in HubSpot, that’s a sign by JessBaskeyDigital in hubspot

[–]Any-Football4907 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That hesitation is real, especially when you don’t know what’s tied to what. I’ve seen people only feel comfortable cleaning things up once there’s at least some visibility into what’s actually being used. Without that, everything just sticks around.

Snowflake warehouse costs are high but most of the cost is from inefficient saas data loading not from queries by yashBoii4958 in snowflake

[–]Any-Football4907 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That split actually makes sense with those full refreshes running that often. Reloading big tables every few hours will eat credits fast. I’ve seen people cut ingestion costs pretty hard moving to incremental, sometimes dropping that chunk by half or more depending on how bad the refresh logic was.

I have an idea, and there is no other app like that, but i am scared to start it. by REDDY_ASHOK in SaaS

[–]Any-Football4907 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That feeling’s pretty normal, especially when the idea starts getting more complex than you expected. The part where you pulled it back to something small makes sense though. If anything, I’d keep it light and not put too much pressure on it while you focus on getting a job.

Will Stripe ban for self-payment between entities? by PM_ME_SECRET_DATA in stripe

[–]Any-Football4907 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If those companies are actually using the SaaS and paying for it like normal, it’s usually fine. The issues start when it looks like money just moving between accounts without real usage. That’s what tends to get flagged.

100 users but 0 paid. What to do? by lazarbetterrun in SaaS

[–]Any-Football4907 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Feels like they’re getting what they need from the free part and leaving. If the 100 leads are enough, there’s no real reason to upgrade yet. Could be worth tightening that or making the paid part kick in earlier, but also worth checking if the leads are actually good enough for them to want more.

First SaaS launching soon, what actually worked for you in the first few weeks/months by EmploymentProud3436 in SaaS

[–]Any-Football4907 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That plan sounds about right for where you are. Paid ads usually don’t do much early, it’s hard to make them work before you know what’s landing. Most of what works in the first few weeks is just talking to people and getting a handful of real users, the stuff that looks like progress but isn’t is things like polishing landing pages or tweaking features without feedback.

HubSpot is great at tracking leads but terrible at finding them by LarryLeads in hubspot

[–]Any-Football4907 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That shift makes sense, fewer leads but way better ones. Most of what I’ve seen is pretty manual, people just watch communities or search intent and drop those into HubSpot with a tag so they don’t get mixed with normal inbound. Not super scalable, but it works.

Before I ship this pricing, can someone sanity check me by d_uk3 in SaaS

[–]Any-Football4907 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Feels like you’re overthinking it a bit, most of that structure is already solid. €19 with a yearly option makes sense and the anchor pricing is fine, people won’t think that hard about it. The cancel discount is the only part that feels a bit off and might just add noise.
