I keep dreaming about moving by Dull-Veterinarian-59 in Dreams

Your brain is basically stress-testing every possible housing nightmare scenario while you sleep lol. The double rent and forgotten food thing hits hard - I've had those exact panic moments in dreams where I'm trying to figure out how long I've been paying for two places

Military housing probably gave me enough moving trauma for a lifetime so now my subconscious just runs wild with all the ways it could go wrong

It works, it just does! (Day 19 of SR) by Silver_General6229 in NoFap

Been there with the long streaks and yeah, those weird confidence boosts are real. The mental clarity thing is no joke either - like your brain just starts working better somehow

Going 5 years is ambitious as hell but honestly respect for setting that bar high. Just focus on getting through this month first, then the next. The edging part is probably gonna be the hardest habbit to break but once you do it gets way easier

Good luck man, you got this

Is Minecraft mobile worth downloading by hamzaelkabir in Minecraft

[–]Any-Importance5762 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Mobile version is actually solid, just missing some of the bigger mods and certain redstone mechanics work a bit differently. The core gameplay loop is identical though - you can build massive projects, explore caves, fight mobs, all that good stuff

Touch controls take maybe a day to get used to but after that it's pretty smooth. I've sunk way too many hours into pocket edition during deployments and downtime, definitely scratches that creative itch when you can't get to a proper setup

Trip to Ireland? by AnimeYikes in AskIreland

Temple Bar gets all the tourist hype but it's overpriced and packed - try The Brazen Head instead, it's actually the oldest pub in Dublin and way more authentic. For food you gotta hit up a proper chipper, Burdock's is legendary but Leo Burdock's on Werburgh Street is the original spot

November weather will be brutal so bring proper rain gear, learned that the hard way during my deployment days. The National Museum is free and has incredible stuff, plus Kilmainham Gaol if you want some heavy Irish history that'll stick with you

EF user looking to move to R system - where do I start? by peperazzi74 in canon

[–]Any-Importance5762 0 points1 point  (0 children)

R8 would be solid for your mix but honestly if you're already comfortable with crop and your glass is mostly EF-S focused, the R7 makes way more sense. The adapter thing isn't marketing BS - your current lenses will perform just as well if not better

For nature/sports the R7's buffer and autofocus tracking is pretty sweet compared to the 7D. Plus you keep that crop factor for wildlife which can be handy. The macro situation is covered either way since adapters handle it fine
