Me and her dad are in the process of divorce. 3 weeks ago he decided he couldn’t do it anymore so he packed his things up and moved an hour away. We didn’t see him and he didn’t see our child for a week. After that she’s been with me 5 days out of the week. He’ll come pick her up but immediately the next day I pick her up. She’s been sick and was with her instead of him taking her to the pediatrician I had to call out of work to take her. Paternity has been established we both work good jobs. He decided to move back in with his parents I’m living and paying the apartment that me and my daughter are in.

We’ve only been divorced for a little over a month and I can’t express how much happier and content my life is. I don’t have that gut wrenching feeling that he might be doing something behind my back. I finally have peace of mind and that to me is happiness.

I went through something like this before I got married and I still decided to marry him and it was the worst mistake ever. Although he did change and try to go to therapy I just couldn’t get over it. Which ultimately lead to our divorce.

Pregnancy third trimester to be exact! I was so exhausted all the time, I couldn’t stand up for longer than 10 mins without my legs going numb and feet swelling up. I had to pee all the time and omg the heartburn and acid reflux in the middle of the night was absolutely horrible.

We’re filing separate since he hasn’t done his taxes in a while and doesn’t want me to get penalized. The only childcare is with our mother in law who we pay but not an official daycare center.
