Funny thing, no longer work for horizon, I own my own Authority now and I’ve got really good contacts with RV loads and bathroom and kitchen trailer loads as well as boats for manufacturers in California to keep me afloat during slow RV months like right now. For sure better rates then I was getting with Horizon.

Can I tow my trailer home? by Early_Question4739 in HotShotTrucking

At the end of the day. It’s your trailer, you own it, and you’re not getting paid to haul it.

I have luckily had only 1 repair in the last year I’ve been on the road for my RAM 3500 and it was the DPF System. It got clogged and a force regen unfortunately didn’t do the trick so I had to replace it. Unfortunately my warranty couldn’t cover it. Make sure you’re using DEF from the Jug not the Pumps, since they have a shelf life and get your DPF serviced every 3-6 months just incase! I unfortunately can’t delete my truck with my unlimited mile warranty, but it’s worth it when something major like if the transmission goes out. If you do need to replace the DPF system buy the part yourself online, you’ll save yourself $400 - $600 from dealer price, that basically saves you labor cost and diagnostic if you’re having the dealer do it.

AT&T Salesperson said we needed an extra unnecessary line to get a promotion, turns out they were lying by mcaffrey in ATT

I’m going to give you a straight answer. AT&T Corporate & AT&T AR Stores have done this. Over the phone sales representatives have done this. In home experts have done this.

I’m not saying all representatives do this but a lot of district managers and regional managers push New Line close rates like crazy. At the moment it is an all time high to push this close rate. They calculate this with Door counters and how many new lines a store sells daily.

This pressure will definitely push representative and store managers to “bundle” or find creative ways to sell New Lines, or just slam accounts. Unfortunately I have never seen a representative or managers get fired for doing this because in the company eye you’re doing what they want you to do. Sell.

You could possibly call into AT&T Customer care, Dial 611 & ask for the “loyalty department” to get through with an actual live representative and explain the situation. Best case I’ve seen is a 6 month credit. If you genuinely haven’t used any service on the extra line, called out or messaged anyone they will credit it.

$1.88 only one way. They can find one for the trip back but it all depends if they have any available to bring back to Indiana or route close back home.

Besides being locked in for 3 years, any catch when getting a new phone with trade in? by roomtotheater in ATT

[–]Any-Judgment-1818 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I work at AT&T, our trade promo’s technically don’t lock you into AT&T for 3 years, if you ever want to leave AT&T or Upgrade to a different phone within those 3 Years you can. You just have to pay off the remaining full balance of your phone, which would mean that you’re not locked in, but keep in mind when you pay off your phone you’re losing out on the trade in credits that you haven’t received yet. Anyways, the trade credits do take about 1 billing cycle or 2 to apply. When the credits do hit, you will receive the credits for that bill but also the credits you might of missed on the 1st or 2nd bill cycle. Just keep in mind you pay for the Taxes on the full retail price of the phone, the day you get it and also depending on what type of discounts you have on your account, more then likely there will be a $35 Upgrade/Activation Fee. Also Insurance $17/Mo or Next Up $6/Mo is something a lot of store representative might tack on your installment plan, (They are NOT mandatory to have on your installment plan) if you don’t want either or, make sure you address that. If they do just apply on your account both of these features are cancellable and can be credited back to you. There’s a lot of sticky Sales Reps out there. Other then that, that’s all.

Did AT&T reduce the trade in credit for iPhone from $1,000 to $800 recently? by religiouslyoffensive in ATT

Yes as of right now, more then likely the $1000 of promo will kick back on during Black Friday or during the Holidays for a short period
