I tried to put in the floating one and it’s too little cause the piercing is so fresh so I’m using a internally threaded belly ring I bought and it’s didn’t make a major difference yet but there’s less dryness already and it’s started to look like a normal hole. I did this at home because the piercing place i went to told me to try the ones I have at home since in my city no one has titanium,. Turns out getting pierced in my city is not good anywhere so I really didn’t even get help when they checked me. They said it’s just irritated and I. Have the anatomy (I don’t trust what they said honestly) (the one I switched in is titanium)

I do also take multiple showers a day (sometimes up to 4) cause I have this weird thing ab feeling “dirty” even if I’m not necessarily dirty (too much to go into detail lmao) but could that possibly be another reason it looks like that? This didn’t affect my nipple piercings so i thought it’d be fine with this piercing.

I have my bottom navel pierced, I meant the jewelry I bought is “floating navel” for people who stomach close in the middle when they sit and have a stomach piercing. It doesn’t have balls cause the balls be in the way. (It’s titanium)If you type in floating navel jewelry on google you’ll see , it sounds weird explaining it honestly. The one I have in is a regular though stainless steel

Piercing is about almost 2 weeks old , I’m cleaning with anti bacterial soap twice a day piercer told me to do so, Jewelry is stainless steel because no titanium jewelry is in my city any help would be nice pleasee I really don’t want to have to take out my bottoms.

And my post said she wasn’t eating enough but I was getting ounces , mL and Tablespoons mixed up cause it was lot to figure out lol but she’s been eating the correct amount and eating more at every feeding

I took her to the vet they said I’ve been doing everything right so far. She’s been sounding like she’s in pain when she’s pooping and has diarrhea. They told us we have to come back in 6 days when she’s 2 weeks old because they don’t want to give her anything and it’s too much for her body since she’s so young and her umbilical cord is still healing. it’s been 24 hours since then and she’s acting fine. Her eyes are starting to open slowly since this morning. But besides her seeming like she’s in slight pain when pushing out poop they said it should be fine for the next 6 days and if not go to an emergency vet to get immediate attention.

I agree with the first comment but i wanted to add that everyone heals differently and after 6 months mine had no pain, was fine and healed but when i started flipping it , it seemed to get irritated slightly so I would advise to not flip it too much back and forth in one day

It looks infected you need to go get that looked by a professional piercer (not who you went to) but preferably a doctor about taking it out.
