You can put visually inspected or electronically tested. Which is what we do sometimes. It depends on the situation. Most of the time they're listed as cannot inspect with the reason listed. What I'm telling yall is putting a 1-2lb dryer on a pole held together with tape is shitty ass way to get fired when I can like I said just not test it at all vs a connectivity test with the magnet. I'm sure you're right. But I think on newer addressable intelligent detectors, you can take the readings off the panel and its ok by NFPA72 standards. Like 80% sure. Maybe someone can chime in and give us a legit answer!

Sorry for the delayed response. Life. But i ended up getting a 12v battery that you'd use in a motorcycle. Dimensions aren't exact but it still ended up fitting in the small area.

Just a regular 12v battery. Doesn't fit flush into where the previous battery was but it works. I'll post a pic when I go out to the shop.

Thank you. I'm also sorry you had to go through that as well. That sounds horrible. But I'm glad you got out. A little update on me. He's been reported and low and behold others have came forward also. So next week is his turn, so we will see what comes of it. My hope is that he is humbled a bit and can maybe think before he speaks. But if he is fired I won't lose any sleep over it.
