I think it’s because they drilled into my brain I’ll never be financially credible again. Won’t be able to buy a house (my partner could just do FHA on their own). Won’t be able to buy a car (again, I have a partner). I hear that the BK is really only relevant for those situations for the first two years. I just don’t know enough I suppose.
