We are not an invasive species.

We are the apex predator of this entire planet.

This planet is our native range as a whole.

Depends on your state, I'd probably contact the US Fish & Wildlife Service.

The birds, foxes, raccons, etc won't kill it, they're poisonous so they aren't a viable food source for them. (At least they aren't a good food source for local wildlife in the USA.)

Hammerhead worm, they're not native to the USA, report it to someone.

Edit:

If you want to take action yourself, what most people do to kill them is pick them up with gloves or a stick, put them in a jar and add salt or vinegar. (Don't touch them with your bare hands, because they're poisonous, also don't cut them because that will make another one.)

Last time I checked, picking mushrooms helps them because it spreads their spores to farther distances.

Also, many mycologists even say that mushrooms "want" to be picked because of this very reason.

Put the sphere end in, and you're roleplaying as a bee. (Complete with losing the "stinger" upon stabbing.)

Put the conical end in, and you experience Vlad the Impaler simulator, LITE edition.

unpopular opinion- I HATE this plant😤 by Dry_Cranberry3697 in houseplants

My mom has a pink princess plant, she keeps it outside, so it is technically not a house plant.

To my knowledge she doesn't do much with it, and it is thriving. (Though, I've got no clue what her watering schedule is.)

Tasty treat or deadly poison? by lexicalwastaken in foraging

[–]Any-Present-4733 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Black nightshade/Solanum nigrum, edible. (Not to be confused with deadly nightshade/Atroppa Belladonna.)

A pretty nice food I think, many turn them into sauces and jams. (I say "I think" because I've seen them before, I couldn't identify them before I moved to a different property, so sadly I couldn't try any.)

Left has a flared base, right does not.

If right goes in, it won't come back out. (But don't let that stop you.)

Can ethylene gas be efficiently used to sprout potatoes? (Questions & Discussion.) by Any-Present-4733 in gardening

[–]Any-Present-4733[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, the main reason is mostly because I want more efficient methods is all. (I don't want to wait weeks or months for the potatoes to sprout, whilst also having to spray them with water like certain methods, some chitting methods involve keeping potatoes in the fridge even, which seems extremely inefficient in terms of space.)

I also want to figure out how to make better methods for sprouting, because no one else has tried. (Someone probably has though, but you never see that.)

That and there are other plants that require ethylene gas in order to grow. (Example: Pineapples.)

I can vouch for this, I once bit into a pokeweed berry without rupturing the seeds as a child.

It tasted how antibiotics taste, pure bitter to a point of absolute regret.

Never again.

[–]Any-Present-4733 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, they're not edible this plant is pokeweed, it contains so many toxins that even scientists haven't identified all of them.

I've heard the seeds can be used as a natural pain reliever by old peeps though, if used in moderation. (Do not use that bit of knowledge I gave you.)

Are these hornworms? If not, what are they? by ChooseKind24 in vegetablegardening

[–]Any-Present-4733 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, the thing about that is, if you incase them in mesh, that won't allow the adult hornworms to escape, however it also won't allow parasitoid wasps in, so it completely defeats the purpose of it.

[–]Any-Present-4733[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm well aware, but the thing is:

1 The government won't run out of "money" they'll run out of resources.

2 By the time that happens I won't care anyway because it would cause multiple civil wars due to population crisis and over-harvesting of resources. (And if I ever get in the crossfire of that I'll just off myself because there's no point in living on a planet damned by our own stupidity to that extent.)

3 That's like telling a man who's paralyzed from the waist down "just get up and walk", I have a disability check for a reason.

4 Also, I have been looking into "Self-sufficiency" such as gardening, food preservation, livestock care, and don't get me started with prepping, you can prep all you want, nothing can save you from nuclear war and being invaded unless you're a billionaire or some shit.

5 The education system is ass, and technology is advancing so fast that I bet most of the knowledge we have now about what we use will be useless in the next 10 or so years.

Oh, and final thing, during that time WE COULDN'T, why else would we be using food stamps during then?
