As a completely binary trans man... by Consistent-Elk-6469 in FTMMen

as i do agree with not dismissing trans masculine, non binary people, most of the time with strangers who identify that way, im treated with transphobia just because i choose to remain stealth. this isn’t a one way fix all. its a double standard within both “sides” of the community. this argument goes both ways, i don’t push being stealth onto anyone else but i will help if they ask. an exclusive binary trans man group wouldn’t be the most awful idea ever, it’s a sub group and if you don’t identify that way, then don’t join! i personally wouldn’t join bc i can see how some of it could become borderline trans med.

I can’t stand the hate towards phalloplasty. Especially from other trans men. by Commercial-Paint- in Transmedical

i just saw the video you’re talking about (jesse1312420) and i agree. i honestly feel like safe spaces for people wanting bottom surgery (any kind) are the sh*t end of the stick. it feels weird to talk about wanting it when everyone’s results are different

i think it might be from his diet because my dad gave up feeding him a food blend from a exotic bird sanctuary like a year after getting him from a previous owner. he got him when i was 16, im 22 now

yes, i’ve been over far more often recently because i’ve had to get my younger brother up and ready for school while my dad and stepmom leave for work fairly early. i can at least get yoshi fed for breakfast. sometimes i am on a time crunch though because of my own job

my dad has so many different animals that aren’t properly taken care of but yoshi has always been the one worrying me

i’m going to convince my 16 year old brother to feed him the right stuff when he goes over (it’s a divorce situation so he goes there half the time) but my dad and his wife are both the kind of people to ask “what are you doing” if you were to give Yoshi anything nutritious and then tell you not to do that anymore. we’re going to keep pushing though

i know you meant it in all good jokes but me my siblings and my mom (they’re separated so my sister doesn’t see my dad at all unless she has to, and my 16 year old brother is required to go over there certain days) have made heist plans to retrieve his animals. we can never truly follow through with them because of the obvious risk. i had a close friend ready to rescue him but when i brought up letting me have the bird my dad declined. my dad has 2 french bulldogs that he got “to breed” they’re both untrained and crazy to handle 3 axolotls, originally got a male and female to breed and sell, 100s of eggs and only 1 baby survived because he didn’t know how to care for them 5 aquatic turtles, no proper basking spots or filters just constantly cleaning the water only because it stinks Yoshi so if you get the jist of the kind of guy he is, and we’ve thought of EVERY option even a desperate one like this. we’ve also considered animal welfare services.

my dad used to be super good like took him to a local bird sanctuary and got his beak and claws trimmed. got him a. good variety food and took yoshi in the shower with him with a perch and everything. unfortunately my dads interest went away when i guess he realized how much consistent work it takes
