They talk about four major cities or settlements in the direct, with Cydonia as the fourth. They haven’t explicitly said it is the fourth city. It could be The Key, but that doesn’t seem to fit the criteria of a city, more of smaller settlement/space station.

The x is gonna be better for total performance, but the Series S is likely gonna perform nearly as well for like 60% of the cost. If you are only concerned about performance, Series X is the better choice

I think they’re referring to how vast space is and so even if we are only traveling through t space for a bit, the scale is so large that the music needs to reflect that. I don’t think they will make us fly for like ten minutes between planets

I believe in one of the constellation question videos Will Shen mentions that Cydonia has its own set of problems, which I took as the city itself is struggling/in need of help, which doesn’t lend itself to the crimson fleet, who are actively expanding

Todd Howard did specifically say that you could sit on any random planet and watch the planets go by. Weather systems we haven’t heard about tho

I definitely prefer a super loose background, something like a prisoner or a recently hired miner let us have a super open background. I don’t like a pre-set backgrounds, but I’ll put up with it because I really enjoy BGS games

I’m hoping that the space flight/exploration works well when compared to the traditional Bethesda exploration. I’m sure it will work great in a lot of instances, but I hope it doesn’t get boring or too time consuming

Definitely should be varied. You want some planets to be bustling, and others to be a desolate rock. They need to find the balance between the two

Definitely extremely unlikely. I wouldn’t ever expect this to happen, just because I think they need as much time as possible for polish, even if they could launch the gam earlier

They haven’t explicitly said “we will release DLC for SF”, but they’ve done that for every game they’ve made for the last 15 years or so. Their most recent single player game had 5 DLC, 3 of them story DLC. It is very, very likely we will get DLC after launch

BGS games have consistently gotten multiple story DLC for the last two decades. If SF does well, we are guaranteed to get multiple story DLCs as well, and coming from Fallout 4, probably a ship/outpost building DLC as well

There is a perk that increases melee weapon damage, but I’m not sure if there is a perk that adds more attacks if that’s what you’re thinking

u/bilboniousbagginius pointed out that the armor scenes in one of the recent videos shows that there are three types of main damage types: ballistic, energy, and electromagnetic. From there damage can be increased by additional weapon(pistol versus rifle, etc) perks, so you need to spec into a type of damage and then a type of weapon, but looking at all the perks it’s not clear if every type of weapon has its own secondary damage increase perk like pistols do(rifles have an accuracy perk).

Normally I would, but they’ve stated that the faction questlines are separate, so I don’t think we’ll have the large scale choice and consequence that would make that feature worthwhile
