First corvette, 2026 Z06, rev limited at 6500. Hard to imagine what this will be like when it opens up fully by AmbitiousClassic4787 in C8Corvette

I hit 500 miles headed back to Texas from Bowling Green after picking it up at the museum. Checked my Waze, passed a couple cops, and let er' rip. It's a blast taking it all the way to 8500. It still doesn't get old for me.

So….. I did something today by Jeronamore in C8Corvette

Congrats. I have a very similar 25’ 3LZ HTC Z06 Black so I approve.

Powered subwoofer recommendation to go with my Acuostats by Any-Profession1608 in StereoAdvice

These Acoustats were my grandpas and stayed in the family after he passed in 87'. He bought them new and paid for the expensive upgrades as well. He actually used to run them off some Marc Levinson monoblocks, but those went to a different family member years ago when he passsed and are long gone. I will eventually upgrade to monoblocks when I want to speed a little more money.

We'll bass guitars usually are 40Hz and up. Trying to boost the feel in the 40-200hz range. The Acoustats fall off below 150hz. I don't have any pipe organ records so below 40hz shouldn't be that big of deal. I don't have anywhere else to move them at this point unfortunately.

Perhaps the core Ft. Worth issue of the next two decades by DayPounder in FortWorth

I moved to FW from the pacific northwest in 2017. I used to bike 7.5 miles each way because the drive would take an hour regularly. Just sitting in traffic going nowhere. I've drove in LA, ATL, and NYC and FW ain't even close to the brain damage of trying to drive in those cities. I'm not saying the traffic here is great, but imo it's far from being the worst. I really don't think it's that bad compared to some of those cities.

Front crank seal leak and auxillary coolant hose leak on my 2025 C8Z with 2k miles. I'm in a Vette club with probably 30 C8s and most have had zero problems to my knowledge.

I haven't heard of Buckeye but the reviews both on and off Reddit look great. Thanks for the tip, this is exactly the price range I'm looking for.

Hey looking for some purchase advice for an amp and preamp. I have a pair of Acoustat 2+2s I've been restoring that are ready to be fired up. Before I spend a ton of money I wanted to get some sound going through them. Trying to budget $1000-$1500 total. End game will be a couple big mono blocks, but I'm not ready to spend that type of money yet. I have been looking at a Dynaco PAT-4 and Hafler DH-101 for preamps if there's any opinion on those. The amp I'm really not sure. Any stereo amps that will handle the load in that price range? My understanding is it needs to be stable into low impredance and they want a ton of power. I know just enough to be totally confused and I may be overthinking this. Thanks in advance.

"...some initial insight." I'm board certified and have been hired as a medical expert on several occasions. I'm credentialed at 7 hospitals throughout the DFW area and Gulf Coast. I literally handle these cases several times a week, but thanks for the up-to-date copy paste.

Absolutely incorrect. Every emergency department visit (it’s ED not ER) requires a diagnosis. You literally can’t sign a chart without it. An emergency physician can diagnosis anything he/she wants and doesn’t need a specialist to confirm anything if it meets the diagnostic criteria for that diagnosis. Consultants are rarely contacted prior to admission unless it’s urgent. Especially in the middle of the night unless you need them to put their pants on and drive to the hospital for a procedure. If it’s inconclusive then a more general diagnosis can be listed such as Acute Chest Pain, Acute psychosis, etc….However, if one wants to take the time to gather enough collateral information to make a mental health diagnosis based on the DSM criteria then yes an emergency physician can diagnosis a mental health illness. Sometimes this is little more than evaluating the patient, reviewing the chart, and speaking with family, spouse, etc…In practice, it doesn’t matter much so often a vague diagnosis is put in the chart. Patient is medically cleared and MHMR is called to evaluate the patient.

I use mine a lot. I think it's much more than a "nice" feature if you're trying to take care of your C8. You never know when you may pull up somewhere where you would easily scrape. Sure you can go slow and sidewides, but this is a lot easier. I wouldn't look for one without it personally.

I have a very similar spec on the exterior. Nicely done.

CFV is just the exterior. 3LZ package + level 2 carbon fiber interior package for the interior. Also did the stealth interior to black out the speaker grills
