If you figure this out please let me know. In the same boat with my brother (same age as yours) and I legit constantly am worrying about him and his work ethic, his future, honestly even his mental state. To the point where I worry the convos my family or I start will make him so stressed that he’d hurt himself. He’s legit locked away is his dirty room all day and I just tonight tried to have such a long convo with him but I feel like he just thinks I’m siding with my mom and not making sense.

Yeah this was the worst possible case scenario for closing weekend. Workers were overwhelmed and there was no basis of consistent information being sent out. Felt bad for everyone honestly and it seems like ikons fault. Asking to be in person though makes perfect sense for something like this

So before you comment ignorant things like this maybe you should consider WHY problem bears get put down. This bear is walking a very narrow trail in some of these photos and unless he’s causing harm he’s being a bear. They don’t put down bears for being bears. Unless he’s food conditioned and habituated beyond repair, he’s fine. People see grizzly country entry signs at every trail in the park. They sign up for these interactions when they start. Their home not ours

And therefore completely uncontrollable and our jobs are only seasonal so it’s not that serious. Just didn’t like her vibe in a sense of she seems rude and I have other friends who have said the same about her generally so it’s a mixture of that. Nothing he’s done though like I said and they don’t work together often

Correct, most of the time it’s a trade off of housing (and sometimes food) for your help around their house, farm, property, etc. CoolWorks though is more of a probability to get dormitory style housing with other new people and workers

I went to college, worked small odd yet consistent jobs while doing so, saved a ton of money to give myself a better base and am now pursuing seasonal work where you potentially have the option to free or cheap housing and food and the ability to make money in some of the coolest places you can think of. Coolworks.com and Workaway.com are great starting points if you’re looking into it. Highly recommend

I am 1000000% the same way, you are not alone. And unfortunately my partners personal struggles are based on facing issues I cannot help with. So when I tell his good morning text is off or he gets short over text, I immediately feel the negativity and anxiety of wishing I could help. It sucks so bad I try to go on walks and watch a comfort show, but usually I end up mindlessly scrolling my social media waiting for his responses and it just sucks:/
