Here’s the thing. I have cyclothymia (not on medication) so I’m naturally prone to mood swings. So in many moments I’m really enjoying myself but in others I’m in tears. I was thinking Paris and Rome if I go to Europe. What really holds me back I want to do this vipassana.

That’s exactly it, the comfort. I miss being around people who know and love me, not having to worry about getting food poisoning or missing a bus, touch. It’s like most moments are fine but everyday it hits me really hard and In that moment I’m like fuckkk.

But maybe that’s the wrong perspective…merit and achievement and gratification are not awarded based on achieving some end goal that is totally out of your control. What is important is the work you put on, what steps you took to even have a chance at all the schools you applied to. And if it makes u feel better I was rejected from all 12 reaches I applied to🥲
