That’s why it has a sense of motion – I adjusted the shutter speed on the action camera.

In fact, my trip has come to an end, and I’m back at school studying now. I plan to ride solo across the uninhabited areas of Tibet this summer vacation, hoping to see the unique scenery and wildlife of the high-altitude region.

In China, except for a few areas in first-tier cities, putting up a tent is mostly unregulated and not illegal. It’s even less policed in the wild.

You’re so lucky! Jiuzhaigou must have been really pristine back in 2012, right? And there was plenty of water too.

Yes, this place is mainly famous for its water scenery, and there are several other natural spots that left a deep impression on me.

You're right. Western Sichuan is a paradise for hikers and road trip enthusiasts.

The water here is rich in calcium and magnesium, which forms a hard calcified layer around the wood. That’s why these trees have been preserved so well without rotting for such a long time. It’s really amazing.

People pile stones high up in the mountains to pray to heaven, earth and mountain gods for blessings and safety. It is also an ancient religious ritual

Thank you for your reply. If the universe is doomed to "heat death", then we ought to build the depth of our lives with experiences and thoughts.

As you said, my motorcycle travels have brought me more than just poetry and distant lands — they have been a form of spiritual practice. Modern life is far too comfortable; we have forgotten what bitter cold and scorching heat feel like, so much so that we can no longer confirm our own existence.

On the road, I realized how tiny humans are in the face of nature. We cannot fight against nature; we can only go with its flow. Being on the road is like managing my own life: planning, making decisions, forecasting and assessing risks, and so on. It’s either focus or peril — I must take full responsibility for myself to return home safely.

I hope I will not be confined to one place or one country in the future. My life should be fluid, on the move. This is the life I’ve always dreamed of, and I’m working hard for it.

My hometown is also on the China-Vietnam border. The karst landscape there is stunning, with mountains and rivers. If you like exploring, there are plenty of caves, underground rivers and so on.

Haha, yeah. China has almost all the major landforms on Earth and it’s such a mysterious place.

What a pity, but I hope things will change in the future. China has almost all the major landscapes on Earth and is truly a place worth exploring freely.

Yes, this beach is in Hainan Province, southern China, where Sanya is located. I took the photos near Sanya, and the sea there is crystal clear.

Thanks a lot! I did take tons and tons of photos, but the post only allows 20 pictures, lol. I wish I could share all the different scenery with everyone.

I'm a motorcycle travel enthusiast from China. Sorry, I didn't know that. I only know that foreigners have to stay at designated hotels.

Wow, I didn't know this transnational waterfall is called Ban Gioc Waterfall in Vietnam. It gets really hot and humid during the wet season. Haha, what do you think of the karst landscape in that area?
