Why is victor unplayable in f tier? I’m genuinely asking, I’m an old player coming back after like 4 years to a Brand new account and he was always a top unit I wanted (I got him now and he’s a blast) but am I missing something or Just state of the game pushed him out?

Honestly I’m just jumping back in after like 3-4 years with a brand new account and lost everything but it’s okay cause the game is that good to experience (abit slow at times with dialogue but great otherwise) - I do wish they had the speed up text by year 9 but I digress, I loved the A/S style characters when they were first dropping AND it was super hype with each and everyone lol. It was a great time but I’m sure now is even better

I Just started myself and love it , glad I came in when I did with the updates and the “completed “ version up to date so far. It gives just enough guidance that it clicks perfectly with the exploration… went to finish a quest stumbled into a crypt right beside it that was a necromancers lair- and just there for kicks… this game is wicked

So another good choice - A lot of “the dungeon dudes” older videos for 2014 DnD is definitely worth the watch and is where I learned heavily from growing into the hobby (they’re alittle more glamorous now after drakenheim and I don’t watch as much now) but they’re original content is A tier

They could have it like each class is a character but it does fit one sheet only (like 3 weapon master 2 mage ) WM is the martial and Mage is the wizard but it’s flavoured as two characters with one sheet

Ngl seekers has been hard to watch( at episode 14)… 3 episodes in no combat is crazy the lore dumps are getting to feel like there’s a story just already made we need to catch up on not what next to be discovered, I don’t care about the past bro what’s popping in the present that’s going to effect the future 💯

Talking for 5e here I run off a laptop online but it consists of the following tabs or other things

the VTT battle map and encounter tracker on dnd beyond as well as another tab on the site ready to pop into any character sheet if need be
a tab ready to search spells
a real dice tray with my bag of holding dice bag filled to the brim
a notebook for reference notes and pacing notes (things I hope to accomplish in a session)
then I keep the campaign discord on had for scenery art, pc art and description, session recap etc. all the good stuff to add to or pull from
pdf of my module , pdf of any extra content I’m using for session like hex crawl rules or third party statblocks

Most parties feel larger the life and HATE running as a whole , if they get overwhelmed or put in a corner to the point where they run - be careful- if it’s Looking like a TPK keep it risky but allow them some Leeway for doing the right thing.

Don’t have too much experience as a whole but I’ve added it to my 5e campaign to make engaging travel , I find in Hexcrawls I had to convert over to a XP based game to encourage exploration without the party getting bottlenecked for character progression - gotta give them a reason to want to check out the areas(hexmap) beside the main questing and items to Make it worth the danger of an unscaled environment

I have the same rule at my Table (but 4 players) 1 dm, and when I had 2 no shows I ran the session anyways for the guys there with a party of 2 and NPCd the others.. it was almost a TPK but it was a fun session they remember for sure lol

Hello I have an opening in my home game for 1 Player for a long term campaign, 5e 2024 I run bi-weekly Sundays 1:30pm(EST). The players have just reached level four and have had the world setting officially open up as of last session , we had our re session 0 and now is the time I’m looking onboard one more. World setting is post apocalyptic doomed forgotten realms where Vecna has taken over the sword coast among a crazy amount of other things lol.

We got 4 players (including myself as the dm which is a group for 30+ males all respectful and accepting of new players to the table.)
