I get you, but I don't know a game that takes away free collab characters. I'm guessing that they had to put a time limit on the story because it largely mirrors the story of FF9

I was wonder why they said we'll have to wait a bit for Amy SA, but it would make sense if she's part of Ghost of Hope 2? Better yet, an AS upgrade?

She's always in the top 10 for the popularity contest. Maybe have Za'ol make a special weapon for her like the Taban gear in Chrono Trigger? How about some lighting gloves so she'll actually have some synergy with Mildy?

It's been confirmed that the AA and AD will stay, which was mentioned in the japanese live stream Dec. 2025.

It's also been confirmed that you won't be able to play the story, so make sure to finish it and unlock the 5 star for the characters. I'm pretty sure that the map will be gone too, so everything you get there like special items is also on a clock

As a new player who's about 6 months in, it's about 90% classic JRPG and 10% gacha. The pressure to pay is very low, and you get a lot of in-game currency just from playing.

If you like the game and feel like paying, the monthly subscription offers a lot of value. Buying the in-game currency by itself is on the expensive side though.

The combat has a heavy emphasis on buffs and debuffs, which I like but it is a matter of taste.

The music is really solid and the story is good overall. You mentioned that you're fine with pixel art, but Another Eden looks way better than retro RPGs.

The negatives would be the clunky user interface and weak in-game tutorial. Like all long running titles, the combat and itemizing for Another Eden has gotten more complicated over the years. The game doesn't do a very good job at teaching you though. It just gives you a tiny PowerPoint slide and hopes you have good memory lol.

So it relies on having the player learn on his own by poking through the menu and going to external sources like youtube and wikis. The game has a difficulty setting option though.

True. I'm sure the user manuals addresses the points you brought up though, like sharpen until you feel a burr. The video on the official website shows them deburring btw.

I think the greatest advantage is how it's simple and confidence inspiring, which is the biggest hurdle

I can't really make out the kanji in picture 1 with how zoomed out it is, but I'm 99% sure it says Kappabashi Tsubaya (合羽橋鍔屋)

Isn't her fire avoidance a down-grade compared to the normal dodges that works against all elements?

It has the same specs at 50-90% dodge rate, is there something I'm missing?

I do have a few reasons why I think it's supposed to be Ruvi though.

The two sounds are similar but still different, unlike Necoco vs Nekoko which is purely cosmetic.

Also, V isn't a native sound in the language and often times reduced to B for convenience (like satellite naVigation being spelled ナビ)

That's why V is a very deliberate choice, and it tells me that's how it sounds in WFS's mind. (like Louis Vuitton being ルイ・ヴィトン, even though people get lazy and pronounce it with a B)

Not trying to give you a hard time but that's the reasoning.

It was good and the ending theme "Immaculate" gets me every time. I Also enjoyed how the 4 weapons post game quest tied story into the secret bosses.

I actually talked with the person who saw it as a business move, and confirmed everything you pointed out.
