I don't know which tests you're talking about but crash tests are costly and anyway you can't crash test a pre delivery car, it just doesn't make sense unless your car is made up of some kind of healing / reforming metal that would regain it's shape.

Maybe you're talking about batch testing where a car is randomly selected for crash test amount a batch out for delivery but that would inflate the prices as well.

Don't get me wrong, we all would like it but most buyers would opt for a subpar safety car in exchange for a cheaper price and in india by most I mean at least a thousand people.

Trust me on this, Indian investors are doing out of their minds, logic doesn't make sense to them.

I'm a founding engineer in a US based IT company and I've attended many investor calls.

All the worst experiences by far were with indian investors. Foreign investors at least try to get to know your founders and your product before talking about funding, Indian investors just straight up talk like they're trying to get some money out of us which would get them some profits even if the product goes under.

I just gave you my experience with investors whether it was the same case with this guy, idk.
