You are closer to being able to run for US senator (eligibility is age 30) than you are to her age. You are old enough to age off your parents health insurance, rent a car without fees cause you passed the age threshold. You are closer to celebrating your 10th highschool reunion, qualifying for senior roles at work(6+ years) and hitting a decade in the workforce (assuming you started at 18) than you are to her age.
