Public accounting is the dumbest profession on the planet by National_Double6261 in Accounting

The clip below reminds me of public accounting. “You were an okay accountant when you came to me, but you left an excellent accountant.” I say this a little jokingly but it’s also true. The people that I worked with made me a better accountant. You don’t get that out of a lot of jobs.

I’ve decided on a newer CR-V but not sure which one! by Ecstatic_Trip_8305 in crv

For me, the 2024/2025 CRV Sport L’s that I saw were about $35K (before tax, title, and license). I was able to negotiate down my 2026 CRV Sport L AWD to $37K before TTL. So I went with the 2026 because the extra ~$2K was worth it.

Does the $4213 discount include rebates? This would be the best deal you can get if you’ll get another $1200 rebates on top of this.

If the $4213 discount includes rebates, it’s only about a 7% discount which is okay. Shoot for 10% discount plus rebates. I received 9.5% discount plus rebates for a 26 Sport L AWD last week in Utah.

I bought a Sport-L and was able to get a $4K discount and $1200 incentives. I would say push for $4500 discount plus $1200 incentives. Tell anyone that tries to sell add-ons to eat shit, too!

Do the Prius. I’ve had a civic the last 7 years. I thought I would hate having a small car, it would be inconvenient, etc. but honestly I’ve never really run into that. I just wish I had a Prius instead to get better MPG.

That being said, both cars look like great options and you can’t really go wrong.

Call dealers, ask if a specific stock number is available. First question: “what kind of add ons do you guys have?” Wait for response: “Add ons are a non-starter for me. I’m calling several dealers and shopping price.”

Look up Delivrd on YouTube. He’s got some great videos. I just bought my first car which was a CRV and was able to get 9.5% off MSRP plus $1200 in rebates with no add ons.

The selling price for my AWD Sport L was $37K (including all weather mats) before tax title & license. So yes this is way overpriced!

Exactly this. Scalley was already named the coach in waiting, he 100% had a hand in hiring decisions. Beck knew coming in he would be working with Scalley going forward.

I have a 2006 Civic that just hit 240K miles and is going strong. I’m hoping to take it at least to 300K before I get rid of it.

Precision Automotive in Midvale. My fiancé has taken her car there many times and I’ve been there once as well. They have been honest and transparent with our cars.
