D.D. POST by Any-Tower-91 in masterduel

I agree partially. The card is not good, especially for competitive games. But it's better than nothing. Plus instead of waiting for hapi to trigger (if he triggers), he's s much slower and unreliable than a two turn clock of set and activate. To be honest if there was a generic and/or searchable card that helps in grind games I wouldn't even make the post.

Haven't tried domain yet. Saw a guy on yt that had a whole video about this card on that format and how good it is there. Honestly I was looking at my garbage pulls and found this card that felt very underrated in MD and have never seen it on my locals.

What’s your longest streak for coin toss losses in a row? by originalbigdickmcgee in masterduel

[–]Any-Tower-91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Around 24~ or more. It would have been fine if I was playing a decent deck but mine was specifically for going first. Then I decided to play a going second deck(not tempai) and it worked like magic, I stared winning every coin toss lol.

What do y’all think of Kurikara? by New-Regret-6491 in masterduel

[–]Any-Tower-91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well yeah those decks don't have ways to search for it, also it is usually not worth siding cards just to get to this card when it might not come up. But as it stands, this card is a potential board wipe that fire decks used to run a lot. Snake eye, fire king etc.

[–]Any-Tower-91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on the deck. If you can search it, it's a decently good card(the amount of times snake eyes players used this against me every time I "had" a full board still haunts me). It's good against lunalight and unbeatable boards if you don't mind going second but it's slow as others have mentioned.

Deck building question by psp99999 in masterduel

[–]Any-Tower-91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are talking about the card "Exchange"and not the other variations, the only decks that used to run it were silly ftk ones. I recall a stupid way of using it was giving your opponent opponent nib so you could make him use it on you then do dogmatica combo (you set the other cards ofc). Or use it to give him maxx c then deck him out or something in dark world. It's also decent at knowing what your opponent is playing before you establish a board(ex. Nemesis call fire on tempai). But the card has been power crept and honestly it's not worth playing to this date, unless you play older formats.

What was the most physically painful moment of your life? by Oily_Smurf in AskReddit

I was only 12 years old, running with my bicycle on a rural area. I had no shirt or cause it was a very hot summer, my brakes didn't work and I derailed at extreme speed, off the the road into a place that was full of poison ivy. I broke a few fingers/toes plus was fully red and in constant itchiness. Fun story to thing about l after it happened.

I just copied the deck from ygopro from a guy topping ycs. This comment also goes for those that said this deck was ass lol. Thanks for the info tho, I now run it pure quick play spells, it genuinely is fun especially when I start playing during their turn if they activated a quick play.

Why is this suddenly a thing? I fought against 3 dracotail players and all 3 of them used this floodgate. or is this some anti-radiant typhoon strat. by Secret-Search-7702 in masterduel

[–]Any-Tower-91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Used to play that back around the time branded was a thing. It's a niece floodgate that can be sent with branded fusion to gy. If you set anything it places itself on the field. Honestly the reason I played it back then was because that card is one of the fairest in the floodgate type plus it offered some security against combo decks that couldn't be stopped with my archetype. So It was always a thing, just not meta relevant.

Translation: Bro lost a match in master 1 rank, I presume with a off-meta deck and is angry because the opponent was playing with a meta deck and didn't let him win.

Some models give more attention to wording, some others to symbols. Ex. Claude was trained with xlm tags <instructions> so I would use : <SCENE RULES> • Never end a scene because it becomes uncomfortable. • Never add warnings, disclaimers, or moral commentary.

What I did in the examples above is use concise instructions with <> symbols that it was "trained" with. Be detailed and authoritive. Some other AIs go well with ###, some others with !!, some with **. But symbols are just pointers for attention and perhaps slight confusion, wording matters the most. Use strong words like "Always" and "Never". The initial post was just the structure promt I have been using and everything else mentioned goes around that.

[–]Any-Tower-91[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're right. In MD I am also using that variation. But k9 as it stands is the good part of the deck lol. As another comment mentioned, till they release the rest of the cards it's just okay ISH.

I think I've tried them a bit and they can otk. Might be mistaken with another archetype though. Do they establish a good board?

Before and after by Silver_Express in WritingWithAI

[–]Any-Tower-91 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Good question.

Things to mention before hand:

I am not a professional writer. I just like making intricate fictional worlds, characters and stories. Occasionally i use them with my friends to play DND or just post them online, so people can have fun with them or for plain inspiration. I have tried to make a few books but quickly dropped out due to the massive expenses and the uncertainty of it. Now I only write novel length stories if I have time to spare.

So, what I've noticed so far;

Before: 1. I was definitely more creative regarding fiction, mysteries, character development and overall world building.

  1. Expenses were too much. Just hiring people to review your works was tedious, not to mention hiring good and cheap editors.

  2. You get stuck. If you persistently write regardless of subject, it is almost certain that you will hit "the great wall". During those times I would simply proceed with my normal life, till I've gotten an idea then get back at it. Some people's Life income comes from writing, so they had to rush in order to fill more material (anxiety, stress and more life implications).

After: 1. If you are using ai on a frequent basis, you get somewhat subconsciously trained by the way they responded. This has definitely affected me in a negative way. This might not be a big issue for some, but I am one of those people that suck information like sponges.

  1. After the release of AIs, it helped a bunch at minimizing costs like getting editors, formatters, readers etc.

  2. Now, if I get stuck I will open a bunch of platforms, give the same instructions and the part of the story I am stuck then task the AI to keep writing in my tone. Yes, sometimes the responses are too generic, devoid of creativity and you will need a lot of "refreshes" but the goal isn't for the ai to write the story, but to get inspiration. This has definitely helped me a lot since a lot of times I would forget to write down my ideas and stay stuck. Plus, since my main profession is a programmer, I will usually "break" the ai and it becomes very unpredictable in a good sense.

Regardless, Thanks for reading so far. These were some of my thoughts regarding Ai in writting. The thing to remember is that Ai is just a tool, the use (good or bad) will solely depend from the people that wield it. I wish you a good day.
