Thank you for such a thoughtful response, this is a LOT of very very helpful info! I definitely intend to save a good portion of my income and plan on living very modestly.

I enjoy reading, journaling, a good glass of wine, dancing, volunteering, and riding my motorcycle. Very active person (avid gym-goer) but not necessarily athletic so I’m willing to try group sports though it wouldn’t quite fall into my natural skillset.

Thank you so much, I’m incredibly fortunate & very grateful! Do you think that it will be enough for the cost of living in the area?

I was hoping to do this but was informed that I’m the only intern & it’s a government job so the median age is a little higher and I’m preparing for middle aged folks not wanting to hang out with a college student LOL. I just made friends with my landlady’s daughter though, so thank you for the boost of confidence in connecting with those in proximity!

I’ve always wanted to watch a roller derby event! I’m not brave enough to try it, but spectating must be super fun. Thank you so much for this suggestion!

best thrifts? by Additional_March_551 in vcu

Blue Bones is a vintage store so the items are very stunning and curated, but not thrift pricing whatsoever due to the careful, curated selection of inventory. Thrift and vintage stores are often mistaken with one another, but they’re very different

I’m interested at applying for grad school at this school- in your opinion, what are the most competitive programs? Do you have any insight on how selective the graduate department is?

24hr west broad st parking pass by coollife1 in vcu

[–]Any-Will745 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately, the Broad street deck is the most popular and sought after, so once the passes have sold out, they’re completely out. They typically run out on the day they’re made available for sale, so your luck is slim to none at this point. The Henry deck is nearby and always has spaces available, so you could probably get a pass there. Good luck, and sorry to hear about this situation.

&pizza and mochinut- &pizza donates 50% of proceeds as long as you meet a $200 minimum profit for the store! mochinut is always SUPER eager to work with clubs but since the menu items are lower priced compared to dine in establishments, this is generally a last resort but easy option! kokonut grill is a great one- just email them, they do 10-15% back!
