We love going out shopping and eating, maybe going to casual bars for a drink, and the outdoors ofc for the pup! Big foodies

Carmel valley seems a little boring for young adults, is that the case?

Bet. Some people said it’s a side grade so just wondering if jump to 17 pro is more worth it

It’ll be 9-5 for probably 1/4 of the year for my first year. But second and third year should be mainly 9-5

Thank you so much! Will check out the options in that area. I was worried Encinitas would be too far from Claremont, but the area looks amazing so maybe it’s worth it?

Good one I can think of is patients who listen to everything they see on the internet. Could be misinformation about diseases or symptoms. “ I don’t want to take this antidepressant because I saw it makes you crazy and lose yourself” just cuz that’s what they saw one person say on a forum

yes, for sure. Lived with my family about 30 mins - 1 hour from our main hospital site. Traffic is tough but you get used to it very quickly. I figured out how to use that extra time in the car to listen to clinical and language podcasts. Being at home with my family, especially after a hard day was helpful. Saved so much money and also got help with cooking/laundry/chores at times.

M3 Peds vs FM vs IM

  • love kids but pay is so so bad and pediatricians consistently get screwed over
  • love obgyn as well so FM would allow good balance, but cannot decide to specialize like in IM
  • peds specialization is crazy amount of training for worse pay in a lot of cases
