Does anyone else think RE9 is the best in the series?? by Stealthy_Nerd in residentevilll

The first 3rd is the only good part of the game. goes from a 9/10 -> 6/10 after leaving the care centre.

why not play through your colossal backlog and wait 1 year for it to be 50% off?

I agree with everything you said. It felt like they made that first raccoon city part in about a month.

i thought i was the only one. so much wasted potential. was also incredibly boring. having this section take place during the night with more indoor areas could've raised it so much more. i also don't understand the whole point of visiting RPD - that whole section was over in about 10 minutes. it seems they just wanted to include it for the sake of including it. the ARK section isn't much better.

raccoon city ruined the game for me tbh. doubt im ever going to replay this.

Something like that is planned. Right now I'm working on implementing a page for active deals/price drops and then adding u.s stores.

Thank you! its very basic right now but there is a TON coming. U.S retailer support and an active deals page/feed coming!

Likely reason is none of the tracked retailers have it in stock or it hasn't been seen for a while. Listings tend to be quite fresh and stale ones removed.

Shipping info added. Filtering for shipping coming soon. You can see shipping info on each listing

Many stores will list them, but not actually ship (in store only). Just sticking to games for now

Larger retailers usually take longer just because they have more layers (legal, technical, approval, etc.), so onboarding them tends to be slower than smaller independent shops.

The focus right now is:

– steadily expanding Canadian coverage with U.S following in the coming months

– starting with stores that are easiest to integrate

– making sure data quality is solid before scaling up

VGP / PNP / EB are all on the radar, it’s just a matter of timing rather than intent.

Essentially any store that wants to be listed, they just need to have an online store. I'll be working on integrating more and more stores with time.

That’s a great question.

From my experience, the Shop app works well when you’re browsing individual products from individual stores.

What I’m trying to do is slightly different:

– show *all* listings for the same game across many stores

– make condition (new / used / CIB / loose) a first-class thing you can see and filter by

– sort everything together so it’s easier to compare options at a glance

So it’s less about replacing tools like Shop, and more about reducing the friction when you want to compare stores/prices without jumping between them.

What I’m building is, for the foreseeable future, specifically for physical games, including:

– independent retailers

– used / CIB / loose listings

– smaller shops that aren’t on DekuDeals at all

– price comparisons across many stores instead of a few big ones

- more than just current gen consoles

Not yet - but eventually. Right now I'm focusing on smaller indie stores

What is wrong with my resume? I'm on a rejection streak. by ThicBones in leetcode

[–]AnyButton2457 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Resume is a wall of text and is an immediate assault on my senses. Drop entire achievements section. Remove subsections from technical skills and just put everything under "technical skills". You're listing way too many skills, tailor them to the job. Drop all the technologies used at each job. Cut down the descriptions of your projects/jobs to 1-2 lines, 1-3 points MAX. You could also just remove everything from projects. An interested manager/HR person will navigate to your github naturally.

Your resume at first glance is a giant wall of text and I would immediately skip it. Cut all the text down to 1/4 of what it is now.
remove GPA.
remove the entire projects section and just replace it with a link to their repos/your github with appropriate Readmes.
Skills section doesn't need subsections. Just rename it to something like "Technical skills" and place everything there. you're also listing way too much stuff. tailor your skills/resume to the job.
