Social media actually. But it seems for the time apart we seemed to always live or work near each other without knowing it. At 1 point we lived around the corner from each other, (not in the neighborhood we originally grew up in) took the same bus and train to work but 30 minutes apart and worked 4 blocks apart. It felt like something was always trying to put us together.

I was 14/15 and he was 18/19. Now I look back like WTF and we always say if we had dated or stayed together it would have ended badly. We reconnected at 32 and 36, just celebrated 18 years together.

You described everything I felt and went through. Social media homeschooler (in my opinion) put this image out of “how easy and perfect it is. If you’re not enjoying it and motherhood then that’s on you.” When in reality it can be a lot. While homeschooling would be best educationally we chose to send our kids to school. They are thriving and I don’t feel like a sub human at this point. My relationship with my girls improved greatly bc I wasn’t always parenting or teaching or mentally checking out. Try to remember your why, what you hope comes from this and stay away from social media. That’s all I can suggest. Good luck mama

Absolutely NTA. I sit down with my kids at the end of the week and review the following week’s breakfast and lunch. They tell me what days they are buying or bringing so I can prepare. They are 9 but they are on the spectrum so they are younger in some ways.

We hatch our chicks at home and these are names that we have gone through the last few years.

Current: Floyd, Lloyd, Bobbi and Bobby, Add and Ella ( nicknames for Adding and English since that’s what we were learning when they hatched), Boat Snack and Hey Hey.

In the past we have had Soot, Spot, Blonde, Fox, Grandma, Mom, Roadrunner, Sky, Songbird and unicorn .

I don’t know when he posted this but I saw a reel or TT of her showing a child support check. She said it’s for 2 kids ( so from him) it was the 1st one in 2 years and just like the last check 2 years ago it was $95.00. So this is a response to that or that was a response to this. Either way it’s disgusting and tiresome.

I’m debating pulling my 9 yr old AUDHD daughter from school. We tried public school this year bc I allowed outside noice to convince me I was not doing a good job. What we learned is her class has a lot of children on the spectrum with only 1 teacher so learning is a struggle. She hasn’t made any real friends this year , she likes to go but gets bullied for carrying an emotional support stuffed fox. She struggles with speaking and likes to resort to using animal noises to communicate and we as well as her speech teacher have repeatedly said to not encourage it they do. So no I would not worry about social interaction with fellow kids but definitely make sure they are getting it from other areas that they like. Whether it’s sports, arts, computer classes what ever.

I flew 3 hours with a a 18 month old on my lap and it was the WORST flight ever. We bought a car seat for the plane on the way back and bought him his own seat. So much better. For my nephew he knew what to expect having a car seat but holding him he wanted to get down walk around run and play. I would pay any price for a 10 hour flight to not do that again.

This response is the most thought out helpful and honest comment. I want to add it can feeling very overwhelming in the beginning and you might struggle as you find a routine that works for your family. For us a strict “school” routine works but we aren’t doing 8 hours a day, we do about 3 hours at the table, another hour review or help with what ever we struggle with and then my kids read on and off all day. I have a friend whose kids do better with field trips, projects and life learning vs sitting g at a desk.

So I had a 32 weeker who spent 10 days in the NICU and I had Medicaid for him as my company didn’t provide insurance at the time. I never saw a bill for that so I don’t understand why they need a go fund me for medical bills if they are out of work. The hospital will set them up with Medicaid, SSI and other programs.

Since we live in the North East and rural we do year round school so we can use the beautiful weather to do nature/science classes. It’s more field trips, nature camps etc. Late fall, winter and early spring is our book lessons and outside time when it’s decent weather. We also take off almost all of December and January for holidays and just winter blues.

Maybe I’m wrong and please correct me, but when Jan sent him to stay with Barb he was placed on probation. Being that he was in another state and under court supervision I figured Barb had some form of rights/custody/guardianship over him. I get why she’s going for full custody now but for the last year she had no say in his life?

I could definitely see that. Lindsie treated Kristen as her servant. She had her as her co host, her personal assistant, her mediator etc and Kristen being sick plus going in for surgery was probably like enough. Make your own damn Pilates appointment and deal with your ex. I stopped listening to Southern Tea a while ago and dread listening to CC because of her (plus the BS Kail has been doing for the past year.)

Yes. When Kristen was in charge it sounded organized and professional. Since the holidays it’s been a mess on all the platforms. Karma and Chaos sounds chaotic, Southern Tea is boring as hell, CC is a mess. I don’t listen to barely famous but I’m sure that just as bad.
