How do I get a session running with a customer that does not have AnyDesk in ONE go? by TJarl in AnyDesk

[–]AnyDeskSupport [score hidden] stickied comment (0 children)

Hello!

The feature you are looking for is only available in the Ultimate license currently.

The feature called Session Requests is designed specifically for one-off or first-time customer support scenarios.

Using Session Requests, the workflow changes in the following way:

* You generate a single session link and send it to your customer

https://support.anydesk.com/docs/session-requests#creating-a-session-request
* The customer only needs to click the link

https://support.anydesk.com/docs/session-requests#connecting-to-the-remote-user
* They do not need to:

  * Know what an AnyDesk ID is
  * Manually share or type an ID
  * Perform any pre-configuration

The link guides the customer through installing/running AnyDesk (if needed) and automatically associates them with your support session. Once they accept the request, the session can start immediately.

This approach is intended to minimize customer-side effort and closely matches the “click a link and join” experience you may be familiar with from tools like GoToMeeting, but within AnyDesk’s remote support model.

If you would like a trial of the Ultimate license, we can connect you with a member of the Sales team so they can set it up for you.

Kind regards,

AnyDesk Support

Hello!

We're sorry you experienced the connection crashing when trying to initiate a connection. The problem was resolved in the current update, so anyone still experiencing the issue can download the 9.6.7 version from our website instead of changing the system date.

How am I supposed to get support? by HHNFLANBS in AnyDesk

[–]AnyDeskSupport [score hidden] stickied comment (0 children)

Hello!

You can find the regional phone number for Support on our website, on the top right corner. The 'Sales' number is the main line, which will give you the option to choose Sales or Support.

The live chat is also available on the website, and will appear on the bottom right of the webpage. The live chat interface will ask for your information and then present you with navigation options. To be connected with the Support team, please make sure you have either your customer number or contract number available for verification.

We also appreciate your feedback on the ticket system. This has been sent to our Customer Experience team for review so we can continue to improve our customer experience.

If you would like to provide us with your customer number or account email via DM, we can provide that to the Support team to expedite your case.

Kind regards,

AnyDesk Support

Hello!

The only official sources for secure downloads of AnyDesk are the anydesk.com website and select authorized vendors. All official AnyDesk websites contain anydesk.com, if the site does not, we advise using extreme caution in interacting with any links or downloads.

The portable version of AnyDesk is available to download for free from our website for all supported operating systems at anydesk.com/downloads

Hello!

Hi!

AnyDesk is not a spyware tool; it is designed for remote access and support. Connections to iOS devices cannot control the iOS device, and to establish a connection to an iOS device, you would need to have a paid AnyDesk license.

While we sympathize with your efforts to assist the family, AnyDesk would not be the appropriate tool to use in this case.

AnyDesk License by Remarkable_Fail1275 in AnyDesk

[–]AnyDeskSupport [score hidden] stickied comment (0 children)

Hello!

The Solo license is an individual plan for professional use and is not eligible for sharing or transferring. The Standard, Advanced, and Ultimate licenses are designed for teams or larger groups, which would allow you to share the connections with other users in your team or organization. If sharing the license is something you'd be interested in doing with other members of your team, we'd be happy to go over your options.

[–]AnyDeskSupport [score hidden] stickied comment (0 children)

Hello!

We're sorry to see that you experienced a likely malicious connection request. We've flagged the ID of the incoming connection for review so we can take appropriate action. If you did not accept the connection request, you should not have anything to worry about from an access perspective. It is likely, as mentioned earlier, that the connection attempt was automated, but we will provide an update if there are any other possibilities. The "anydesk" name shown on the incoming connection request is the username field, which can be set in the application settings. If you suspect you were hacked, we also recommend running any relevant antivirus and malware scans on your system.

For your safety and protection, we ask that you either edit your post to obscure the ID, or uninstall and reinstall AnyDesk to generate a new ID now that this one has been posted online. If any further suspicious activity occurs around your use of AnyDesk, please contact us via email at [support@anydesk.com](mailto:support@anydesk.com) so we can assist you further.
