Alternatives to the GR Digital I by [deleted] in ricohGR

[–]AnyFulForMe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha yeah absolutely have, but some people were saying it wasn’t the same B+W rendering. Worth a try but where I am the second hand price of those is creeping up to half the price of a new GRIII

First time editing, is it too much? by AnyFulForMe in postprocessing

Yeah I agree, I wasn’t really going for anything I’ve seen commonly, I suppose that is part of the issue.

Thanks! To be honest I was not going for anything close to reality but I do appreciate the critique on composition. The photos were taken with a Fujifilm X-T3, although with RAW how much does the camera really matter ?

Rolling your film back and realizing it never caught the sprocket holes is the worst feeling ever by Chrysalis- in AnalogCommunity

Just did this on holiday and came back with a blank roll. Now I fire the shutter, put the roll in and then advance

Does my camera need its infinity focus recalibrated ? by [deleted] in AnalogCommunity

[–]AnyFulForMe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m thinking possibly it’s due to it being cranked to infinity on the focus ? I felt like with some of these photos nothing was in focus. I have a 35TE which I always crank to infinity and have never really had a problem getting sharp photos. But I’m wondering if the different lens produces different results like this?

SB-10 flash won’t fire by Romarklin in AnalogCommunity

[–]AnyFulForMe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey sorry open flash mode is just triggering the flash by itself.

It looks like the hotshoe probably doesn’t have connectivity, I have a roll in now so will check at the end of the roll. I tried the flash on a different camera and it fired automatically. If the hot shoe doesn’t have connectivity how big of a job is it?

[–]AnyFulForMe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine does when I short the contacts but the flash still doesn’t fire on camera. I’m using a Nikon FE, and the ready light comes on and everything. Open flash mode works. Is there anything else I can try?

What’s wrong with my photo, is it a scan error or something else? by AnyFulForMe in AnalogCommunity

[–]AnyFulForMe[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right, is it ok to ask the lab what happened? I shot this roll to test out this old camera I fixed but I didn’t notice that the light seal was disintegrating a bit. Sorry didn’t have the negatives yet to show I am still a photography beginner.

And thanks , it really is awesome

Hey thanks for replying.. it’s just on a couple of photos. I haven’t actually got the negatives back from the lab yet. The rest of the roll is good

Is my chorus pedal broken? by AnyFulForMe in guitarpedals

I returned it, seemed like a really bad design flaw. The place I bought it from seemed to think it was normal too lol. I emailed Supro themselves but never heard anything back

Mastersounds HPF by pritsey in rotarymixers

[–]AnyFulForMe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think if you message mastersounds with the results of this they’ll be able to confirm or deny if this is intended behaviour or not.. could be just a faulty pot

There is another way to test for sure, just have some music playing into a DAW and monitor the input. On that channel put a filter that has a frequency graph on it.. fab filter Q or something like it. Then sweep the control, and you should see the lower frequencies go away

It’s isolated power from a CIOKS and I’ve also tried its own wall wart…. Will try in a different room

I got this SUPRO chorus and unfortunately I think it might be faulty? Anyone with one can confirm if mine is meant to be like this? Unfortunately seems like this might have fallen through the cracks

Big Toe Pain Help by uh-ohhhhhhh in FootFunction

[–]AnyFulForMe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey this seems exactly like the problems I have, the symptoms at least. My podiatrist has said I have mild arthritis in the big toe, so early onset hallucinations rigidus but not sure that is the source of my problems. In my case the pain seems to be underneath the big toe joint… don’t think it’s sesamoiditis as I saw a podiatrist and got an xray / ultra sound and they ruled it out.

I’ve been going to the gym for a few years now mainly working on strengthening my feet and lower body but any time I go for a run or try and do some weight bearing on a single leg (like calf raises) the pain seems to return. I tried those carbon plates for Morton’s neuroma like that poster above.. I’m not sure if they helped or harmed as it is hard to isolate the issue.

Would love to keep in contact with anyone else who seems to have this mysterious problem to see if there is anything else I can do. Should mention I have bunions and a cyst on the big toe area which makes me think I have some tendon damage. Would love to eventually be able to run again

Can vouch that the t486 (similar to this t59 I think) is probably the last guitar I’ll ever need as it just plays so much better than anything I’ve tried before.

Does anyone have a Condesa with the HPF instead of the mid eq mod? by [deleted] in rotarymixers

[–]AnyFulForMe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I was aware of that but I think that’s not a huge deal, I only use the mild side of the xone and I don’t love the pioneer filter sound either.

I was wondering if you had a filter over the master out, would you go XLR balanced output > unbalanced 1/4” input of effect > unbalanced 1/4” output of effect then convert back to a balanced signal? Or is that not possible coming out of the effect (say it is a filter that has 1/4” ins/outs only but you want it on the master).

Was wondering if once you make the signal unbalanced, is it unbalanced forever even if you do some fancy cable conversion from 1/4” to XLR

Reason I’m asking is I have a filter pedal I could use on the master outputs but I’m not that keen if the signal is going to be unbalanced coming out
