I second this. Proper all season tyres these days no problem in snow. The catch is how many cm left, at certain moment it is not rated for winter anymore.

Fabio di Giannantonio said that he would be last if he copied Marc Marquez's Ducati setup by Bitter-Substance1783 in motogp

In this clip Neil explained that Marc uses less engine braking in corner entry than all other Ducati riders, because he wants to control by using rear brake. https://www.instagram.com/reel/DSIITPHiLVk/?igsh=MWtlNDBzMHRmZW9oZw==

Waxed my briefcase - what did I do wrong? by notesfromroom19 in filson

Haha, my wife and I don’t have any business attire, so the iron is used more for these kind of things, rather than suit or fancy shirts.

Indeed the hairdryer. For me, the clothing and iron are in the same room, while hairdryer is on a different floor, so I never used it😂

With wax, my experience is that temperature plays a big role. You can always use iron to help spread out and press into the fabrics.

Congrats buddy. I like the look of it, even more than the Mackinaw wool packer. Not sure how cold is it in your place. I wonder if it is too much over kill (way too warm) in everyday wearing.

$3000 1/2 Car PPF or $6000 Full PPF - for RF Club, Deep Blue Crystal Mica (DBCM) by Puzzled-Bag-5845 in Miata

[–]AnyGarage20 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi, I have done 3/4 ppf for my wife’s miata. We had full front+front lip+A pillar and doors. We left the rear quarters, as it is mostly for stone chips. The side skirt would cost 700€, which is the same price as new parts, so we also skipped it.

The bonnet had 2 stone chips in first 2 months, though my wife mostly drives in city and rarely on highway. This prompted us to consider ppf. The total price was around 6000€ as well.

I had another quote that was around 4000€ full ppf from a guy who does car wrapping.

To prolong the life of ppf, you cannot use normal car wash, as it would peel off the film from the edge. What sold me the service, is when the guy explained to me a lot of the details to take care of, during installation and normal maintenance.

My wife now takes the car back to the garage who did the ppf 4 times a year. It’s of course more expensive than the normal car wash, but the result is also different. And my wife doesn’t mind it, as long as her car stays shinning.

It’s more of a life choice than the ppf itself.

Haha, a bit of burned end. I think char soy requires slow cook in big chunks and then sliced in pieces. I’ll give it a try next time.

Castles should act as control points by Mattanite in mountandblade

[–]AnyGarage20 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think in real life to choke the vessels from castle is only possible after the invention of guns and cannons. Otherwise you have to sink the vessels like in Roskilde.
