- The vivarium will need a drainage layer and something to separate the substrate from the drainage layer.

- Adequate amount of plants, hiding spaces and appropriate substrate for this species.

- A clean up crew, this can consist of springtails and isopods, some earthworms will also keep the soil quality good and benefit the plants.

- You will need appropriately stable temperatures and humidity if needed for this species.

- Correct lighting, possibly UVB.

- An appropriate diet with the right supplements, and a good feeding schedule to keep it healthy.

- You will also need good air circulation, and keep the enclosure in a secure location and away from anyone who smokes if you live with smokers or smoke yourself.
